“Just down the hall,” she said, starting towards the nursery. “Not too bad. I have a lot of pressure and I have to move around a lot to make it not so uncomfortable, but other than that I think it’s going pretty well for a first timer in labor,” she said as she entered the baby’s room. She did have everything set up–aside from the changing table like she’d mentioned before and the crib still didn’t have its sheets on yet. “She is. Like, a lot a lot. She moves every ten minutes or so. Don’t worry about it, I can talk for hours so bring on the questions.”

selena nodded as she got the directions towards the nursery, following ariana to the nursery. “well that’s good, i guess,” she said with a chuckle. “aw, i hope everything goes well for you.” when they walked into the room, she walked towards the changing table that hadn’t been set up yet and looked around for the instructions on how to get it together. as soon as she found them, she sat down and began to read it. “creepy question, but if she happens to move would you mind if i touched your stomach ? or is that way out of your comfort zone ?”

She was excited about the baby’s birth–right up until she went into labor. It didn’t hurt at first, but now it was getting uncomfortable. She couldn’t just sit or lay around in bed like she was advised–she had to move around to be more comfortable. She’d been keeping herself busy, reorganizing things around the house. She was folding some of the baby’s clothes when she heard a knock at the door and Selena’s voice. Walking from the nursery to the door was just about the most annoying thing ever because she hated the way she waddled like a duck. As soon as she got there, she opened the door with a small smile. “Hey. I’m just getting the baby’s clothes put up,” she said.

“hey !” she said as the door swung open. she was pretty excited for this moment, considering she had a lot of love towards kids and babies. she was glad to be helping out ariana with all the baby stuff, and didn’t mind it at all. “okay, that’s good. where’s the nursery ?” she waited for ariana to lead her towards the room with all the things that still needed to be set up. “how’s it going so far ? has she been kicking a lot ? wow, sorry for all the questions.” she didn’t want to overwhelm ariana with so many questions but she was curious as to how the girl was feeling.

selena had seen ariana’s tweet only a few minutes after she had tweeted, but she wasn’t planning on leaving until after her concert ended, she would’ve immediately gone to the airport afterwards. plans had changed and she found herself canceling tonights show along with a few other shows of the week and would reschedule them for as soon as possible. this moment was much more important to her. when she replied to the tweet, she had already gotten back to new york and was on her way to see ariana back at the house. the car ride seemed to last forever, which it probably was, with all the traffic and such. when she finally made it back to the celebrity house, she got in, rushing up to ariana’s room. she knocked on ariana’s door, waiting for an answer. “i’m here !”
