This is Mirage, my beloved alien boy. He appeared to me in a dream (looong story!) two years ago, and I decided to turn him into a character.

Despite his mysterious and -kinda- scary appearance, Mirage is a gentle soul who wouldn't hurt a fly.

He communicates by placing one of his hands on your head, cheek or shoulder: his voice is deep but also sounds like a sweet melody, soothing and comforting.

He eats in a curious way: photosyntesis! He absorbs all the light around him, just like plants do

After a few long years, I decided it was about time to re-draw the portraits of my main four characters: Laila Silverwolf, Jua, Caramella and Mandarina.

Last time I made something like this was in 2020 during lockdown, can you believe it? So much has happened, so many things have changed through these years... They needed an update as well.

The photos I used to create the effects you see were all taken by me: I wanted to give my artworks a twist this time, and playing with my own photographs was my first idea.

When Ludovico Einaudi's music and my passion for art and photography met, Progetto "Experience" was born.

Progetto "Experience" is composed of a series of graphic artworks combining photographs and illustrations (all made by me), each one inspired by a composition by Ludovico Einaudi. The idea first started to develop in late summer / early autumn 2019, and it finally became a concrete project months later.
