[ Hello friends, I know I have not been on lately and I do apologize for my absence! I will be rejoining you soon! However, I am headed off camping into the wilderness for a week and I will not have internet access for a week (minus brief jaunts out for school related things. I will be back around the 24th! This also means I will be missing my birthday on the 22nd, but feel free to send me things anyways! It would be nice to come back to birthday messages!!

     Unfortunately, there wasn’t much Gadreel could do for how she clearly felt— aside from, maybe, sedating her so that she could rest. He figured, however, that if she wanted rest, she would take some time to sleep and rest herself later. So instead of sedating her, he simply watched her, squatting down and resting his arms upon his knees, so that he could converse with her better from her spot lower down on the wall.

          ❝I rescued you because you needed help. Is that not good enough of a reason for you?❞

          “ I don’t know much about Heaven besides the fact that I won’t end up there, and that they don’t pass out favors. “

     Lillian had never mentioned angels, had never thought for a moment that they might exist. The past few years have been explosive in the world of hunters, between the demons who have multiplied tenfold over the earth, and the sudden realization that yeah, angels exist. So why doesn’t she feel fear, or at least feel wary with the angel crouched beside her? Is it sheer exhaustion, or something about the way his voice is soft, despite an imposing body?

          ❝ oh, i figured as much. ❞ hands deep in her pocket, grace takes a few steps forward. her stride is easy, relaxed– sure she’s not one for MESSY MURDERS in poorly lit BACK ALLEYS, but HEY, spontaneity is the key to a FULFILLED LIFE. right NOW, she isn’t interested in a cover, in playing VICTIM. this woman– she’s one of the good ones. call it’s a SIXTH SENSE, call it mind reading. it’s all WORDPLAY and semantics. she shrugs her way over, nudges the decapitated head with the toe of her sneaker, and FROWNS. ❝ YUCK. i don’t know how you guys DO IT. ❞

          “ you don’t seem freaked out by this. “ her machete switches hands so she can shake the blood off of the one. blood is sticky, and it can be a problem while hunting if you’re not careful. however, her grip does not loosen. anyone who isn’t afraid of seeing a deaf woman decapitating a vampire and walking away covered in blood is not normal. she’s clearly not a vampire, or she would be trying to eat the huntress. something else, but what? “ why are you here ?? “ she’s half tempted to just throw the machete at this girl, but the possibility eileen is wrong holds her back. perhaps she’s just another human too accustomed to violence.

          ❝I am an angel.❞

     Not yet too keen on revealing exactly who he is, that’s all the answer she’s going to get. She’s a hunter, and although he’s saved her, he doesn’t want to give too much away on the chance that she might be one of those who has a special grudge against angels. He wouldn’t let a human bleed out on his watch, but it’s best to wait and see if his efforts healing her would be appreciated or not before he gave her a name to go by.

          ❝And you should have been more careful.❞

     Her legs still feel like Jell-o, and she tried to prop herself up, only to feel them waver beneath her. She slides back down against the wall, focusing on breathing. The pain has completely gone, but she still feels exhausted and weak, what with her own blood still coating her. An angel. Sure, she had heard they were real. Sam Winchester had even mentioned befriending one. Her eyes focused on his mouth, as if waiting to see proof of his celestial nature.
