Chris Jericho v. Seth Rollins - World Heavyweight Championship- WrestleFest main event
A simple lock up to get this match started. The lock up quickly turned into a shoving and charging contest, where both Jericho and Rollins went back and forth in trying to get the one in the corner and the other into the other corner. At first we might have seen some kind of definitive winner for this little show of strength, until Jericho started to press downward onto the palms of Rollins, causing him to have no choice but to go down with Jericho. Slowly, Jericho got Rollins to bend all the way down to where his shoulders were being pressed into the mat, in which the ref had no choice but to slide down and start the count. “One! Two!” Seth quickly powered through a little bit of the grip and got his shoulders up in time for the two count. With Seth already lifting up into the hold, he began to power through Jericho’s strength, getting himself back up to a vertical basis. With their hands locked together, Seth quickly shook his hand free and locked in a quick clutch to deliver a make-shift leg sweep takedown. Seth then quickly went in for a cover. “One! Two!” Jericho kicks out at two!
Seth ran to one side of the ropes and springboarded right off to charge in Jericho’s direction to try and hit the Blackout, which Jericho avoided, causing Seth to step over and run to the other side of the ropes. Jericho quickly made it back to his feet and met Seth with a clothesline, sending Seth crashing back down to the mat, and going in for a cover. “One! Two!” Seth kicked out at two. These two then started to have another staredown, in which Seth stayed at a knee, getting himself back up to his feet. As these two circled around each other, Jericho rushed in to close the gap in which Seth moved over towards the side and gave him a quick sweep at the legs, to cause Jericho to crash down to the mat. When Jericho was down, Seth moved in and grabbed the left arm, wrenching it back in a tight hold with his right arm putting pressure on the shoulder where the joint was at, pulling back a little to start weakening the arm. At this point it wasn’t about going after the sweet spot for your finisher, but you needed to do whatever you can in order to get some kind of upper hand on your opponent. It took about a good minute for Jericho to wrestle his way out of the hold, delivering a few strikes to Seth’s mid-section to shake him off, making just enough room for him to step back and leap up for a quick drop kick. Once the drop kicked landed, he went over to Seth and grabbed his legs, already going in for the Walls of Jericho. Seth shook a leg free and drove the bottom of his boot right into the forehead of Jericho. Seth got him to let go as he started to get back up to his feet, though as soon as he got to his feet, Jericho was ready and waiting and struck with a quick and vicious Codebreaker. Seth crashed down to the mat as Jericho went in for the cover. “One! Two!” Seth kicks out at two! Seth was tending to his head as he rolled over, his feet lightly kicking against the mat while Jericho started to deliver hard boots the the back and the back of the head. Jericho quickly went down to his knees and went in around Seth for a tight sleeper hold. It seemed with almost everything Seth did, Jericho wrentched back tighter and tighter, but Seth found it in him to roll over onto his knees, slowly making it to his feet, running towards a ring post just to jump up and dip back, sending Jericho right into the mat with the extra weight. With Jericho letting go and still on the mat, Seth quickly moved him around a little bit as he ran up the ring post and quickly threw himself back, twisting in the air and doing a front flip and landing the Phoenix Splash hard across Jericho, and immediately right back into the cover. “One! Two!” Kick out at two!
Jericho managed to kick out, but Seth wasn’t done offensively there. He waited for Chris to get up, before attempting the blackout again, but Chris managed to dodge the move and hit Seth with a Codebreaker! Chris covered!
1…2… Kickout!
"Come on ref!" Chris shouted at the official as he pulled up Seth by his two toned hair and whipped him into the corner. He grabbed him by the legs to pull him out of there, but Seth had a grip on the ropes, and once the timing was right he flipped over landing onto his feet and then delivering a kick to the side of Jericho’s head. Chris being the smart veteran he is, rolled over onto the outside. Seth stood on the far end of the ring, opposite from where Chris was on the outside, he kept his eyes on the Canadian, waiting for the right moment before running and flipping over the top ropes, landing right on Chris who had just gotten up to his feet. His high risk moved got himself and the crowd pumped up. Seth got back up to his feet, and flipped his hair back before picking up Chris and sliding him back into the ring. Seth ran at Chris and jumped up going for a hurricanrana, but Chris stopped Seth, reversing it into the Walls of Jericho! Seth screamed in agony and reached for the ropes, but Chris dragged him back into the middle of the ring. Chris screamed and wrenched back on the hold, trying to get Seth to tap out. Seth managed to roll over and push Chris off. Seth ran at Chris and went for a dropkick, but Chris dodged and Seth hit the corner hard. Chris grabbed Seth and lifted him up onto the top rope, before climbing up and grabbing him around the waist. Chris went for a top rope German suplex, and hit the mat hard himself, but Seth landed on his feet! Chris went to get up, but Seth hit the blackout! Seth went for the pin!
1…2… Kickout!
Jericho kicked out of the blackout somehow! Seth looked down in astonishment. He tried to figure out what to do. Seth picked up Chris and went for the sethwalker, but Chris turned it into a reverse DDT! Chris then went for a lionsault, which connected. Chris then went for the walls of Jericho again, and Chris fell back, accidentally knocking the ref out. Seth rolled up Chris, but there was no ref to count the pin. Seth got up and hit Chris with an enziguri, and climbed to the top rope for an aerial move. When he jumped, Chris caught him with a Codebreaker! But there was no ref to count the pin!
Suddenly, edge came running down the ramp, wearing a ref shirt! Edge was gonna save WrestleFest!
Edge slid in the ring, and both men tried to get back to their feet. They began trading right hands back and fourth, neither man wanted to lose this match, the biggest match in Wrestlecon history!
Seth ran off the ropes and went for a clothesline, but Chris ducked, but Seth still caught him with a leg sweep. Seth then dropped a leg on Chris, stunning him. Seth looked around the ring for what to do next.
Seth then ran off the rope and attempted a tornado DDT, but Chris dodged and Seth landed flat on the mat. Chris gave Seth a hard super kick to the jaw, causing Seth to fall to the mat. Chris went for a lionsault, landing the move, and going for a cover.
1…2… Kickou- 3!
Seth kicked out, but edge counted three! The bell rang, and the announcer annouced the winner.
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and NEW world heavyweight champion, Chris Jericho!"
Chris jumped up and grasped the title, hugging it and walking up the ramp, not realizing that the crowd was actually booing him. He walked backstage, and Seth was in the ring arguing with edge, saying that he kicked out, but edge claimed Seth didn’t. It didn’t matter though, the match was over, and so was this magical night.
Thank you everyone, from the bottom of our hearts, for making this all happen. We’ll see you on shockwave!
"So when the world outside can’t see what’s wrong and right, people can understand the reasons why we fight. Something’s gotta give." - Jeremy McKinnon.
Coming down to the ring from Davenport, Iowa, he is the World Heavyweight Champion! Seth! Rollins!
"I need these people to have faith in me. I’m about to go out there and defend everything we’ve all fought for." Seth simply said to the black curtains that waited before him. The world is a strange place that spirals out of control sometimes and when that happens, the only thing that we can do sometimes is either fight back, or wait it out and pray you get the better end. But in this world, nine times out of ten, your prayers never get answered, so that lowers it down to fighting until you can’t fight no more. If anyone made what can be called a legacy in the future off of fighting, you can look no more, for you have found it in this man named Colby Lopez, better known to the world as Seth Rollins. Rollins heard his music start to play over, and he was going to burst through the curtain right then and there, but he just had to take it in for a moment. Exactly where he was. What he was gonna go out there and do. Defend the World Heavyweight Championship on the big stage. Tonight’s music was a bit different from the one he always used. It was time for a change maybe, but it was still yet another very motivational song for him. Seth busted out from the curtain and walked all the way across the large stage, patting his belt and fixing it up along his waist before pounding on his chest a little bit, bending over to pound on the ground in order to get his fans hyped up. When he was done on the right side, Seth ran back over to the left side and unstrapped the belt from around his waist, letting it sit at his right side. He lifted the belt high over his head before grabbing onto it tightly, spinning it around for a little bit, pulling back to transition himself to the ramp. Looking down the ramp, he saw Jericho and he gave a nod, holding the belt he reached over with his free hand and gave it a couple pats. Seth then ran his way down the ramp and over to the ring, running up the stairs and leaping up to the middle rope, keeping his shins on the outside of the top rope. Standing tall, he lifted his belt up above his head one more time and wore a proud and powerful expression, looking to Jericho one more time before dropping into the ring.
The lights in the arena all went out, minus the camera flashes. Suddenly, in the middle of the entrance stage, a blue, light up jacket lit up. And another. And another, until dozens of light up jackets were all seen on the stage. They moved into a special formation, before putting all of their arms out in Chris’s signature pose. The aerial camera took over, revealing that they were standing so that “JERICHO” was spelled in lights. Suddenly, as the titantron lit up with a countdown from five, those lights turned off, and rising from a platform, previously under the stage, came another jacket, this one covered in lights of all colors. The countdown stopped and the arena was lit up with the most impressive fireworks display to this point in the show. Jericho’s music then hit, and he spun around, grinning. He made his way down the ramp, slapping a few fans hands along the way. You couldn’t tell it by looking at him, but nerves were starting to take effect. This was the main event after all! Chris climbed into the ring and posed on the top rope, before taking off his jacket and waiting for Seth.
The following contest is set for one fall, and it is for the world heavyweight championship!
Taker vs Sting- The streak- WrestleFest
Once the bell rang The Undertaker and Sting came face to face, nose to nose having a stare down for the ages, while the crowd had already started chanting “This is awesome!” and clapping their hands. This was the match that fans have been waiting for, for a lifetime. The Phenom vs. The Icon, with the streak on the line. The Undertaker had left WWE with a 21-0 WrestleMania streak, and now he was going to carry on his legacy here at WrestleCon. The two men stared at reach other for about a minute before The Undertaker hit Sting with an uppercut. The Deadman came out of the gates quickly hitting Sting with punches, and elbows, and a knee to the gut once he got Sting against the ropes. Undertaker dominated the beginning of the match, having control over Sting, until he went up Old School, and Sting pulled his arm causing Taker to lose his balance and fall on the ropes. Sting pulled Taker into the ring and hit him with a snap suplex, and then a dropkick. Sting got up on the top rope and followed up with a diving clothesline. He was really starting to get momentum now. Sting got up and dropped a leg on the undertaker’s head, before going for the cover. 1…2… Kickout. Sting rolled up and got right back to the assault, stomping away at the undertaker’s midsection. Sting then picked taker up and planted him down with a scoop slam. Sting then climbed the rope and hit an elbow drop, going for another cover 1…2… Kickout! Taker managed to kick out again, no surprise there. Sting lifted him up and tossed him into the corner, and went for the stinger splash, but taker moved at the last second. Taker then lifted sting up and dropped him with snake eyes over the top turnbuckle. He then went running, and hit sting with a big boot, before dropping a leg on sting. Taker then raised his hand up in the air, and everyone knew what he was going for. Sting got up and taker wrapped his hand around sting’s throat, hitting him with a huge chokeslam! Taker went for the cover! 1…2… Kickout! Sting managed to kick out of the chokeslam, but taker stood up, waiting for sting to also get up. When he did, taker delivered a hard right hand to Sting, knocking him back. Sting came back with a hard right of his own, and taker came back with one, as the two now traded punches. Eventually, sting landed a couple of hard rights in a row, before running off the ropes and hitting a cross body. Sting then picked up taker and tossed him into the corner, before hitting the Stinger splash! Sting then grabbed taker, and lifted him onto the top rope, before climbing up himself and hitting a superplex! Sting crawled into the cover! 1…2… Kickout! Taker managed to kick out at almost the last second, keeping the steak alive! Sting went over to taker’s legs, and attempted to lock in the scorpion death lock, but taker quickly pulled sting into Hells Gate! The crowd suddenly came alive and sting desperately reached for anything that could help him get out of the hold. He was fading quickly, and wouldn’t last much longer. He started pulling his way towards the ropes, trying to turn taker to get closer. He reached out and grabbed the rope, forcing a break on the hold. Taker got up and lifted up sting for the tombstone, but sting escaped, and managed to turn the move into the scorpion death drop! Sting goes for the cover! Could this be the end of the streak?! 1…2… Kickout! Taker kicked out of the scorpion death drop! Sting looked down in astonishment, what would he have to do to put the undertaker away?! Sting picked taker up and whipped him into the corner, before hitting another stinger splash. Sting then climbed up and began punching taker in the head, but before he could reach a count of 10 punches, taker lifted up sting, and hit him with the last ride! Taker covered. 1…2… Kickout!
Taker lay there mouth wide open in shock and despair. He stood on his feet and did the cutthroat symbol once more. Sting arose and was lifted in the Tombstone position once more. The crowd rose to their feet as staying managed to reverse the maneuver into a Tombstone of his own.
The possibility of the undertaker losing to his own hold had the crowd in awe as The Icon covered his adversary.
1….2…. Kickout!
The Undertaker sat up immediately and began striking with heavy blows until Sting was groggy on the ropes of the side of the announce table. A heavy duty clothesline sent Sting over the ropes as he gasped for air, he tried to get some reprieve by leaning against the announce table. Suddenly, The Undertaker came soaring over the ropes with a tope and the impact sent both legends crashing through the table.
"THIS IS AWESOME!" The crowd chanted once more as both men rolled into the ring simultaneously, only gaining the ability to stand up by leaning against one another. Then, the strikes began to fly again. Undertaker with a left. Sting with a right. Undertaker hit another left but when The Icon tried to respond Taker caught his hand and set up for Old School. Even though the attempt to climb the turnbuckle was a struggle, Taker came down with a fist across the back. He called out for a choke slam and when The Icon stood up he was caught in the demon’s grip. The ride was short and quick but Sting was out.
Undertaker went to pick him up for a Tombstone attempt— Sting was playing possum and caught Taker in a roll up!
1..2.. Undertaker kicked out quickly and stood up attempting a big boot but his leg was caught and Sting took him down and locked in the Scorpion Death Lock! The Deadman screamed in agony and tried to reach the ropes. Finally, his hand gripped the bottom rope and the audience had assurance that this match would continue!
Undertaker needed the assistance of the ropes to stand up but when he got to his feet, he was in the turnbuckle and in prime position for another Stinger Splash. Sting came charging in with one last surge of energy. The crowd held their breath when they had realized Sting was caught coming in and undertaker mustered up whatever strength he had left and hoisted Sting onto his shoulders and sent him crashing down with a devastating Tombstone!
Undertaker hit his signature cover…
1….2….3!
The undertaker keeps his immortal streak alive! Both men lay there until finally Taker sat up and acknowledged the audience. Sting eventually got to his feet and they both shared one final stare down. Finally, they shook hands and embraced before Sting left The Phenom to revel in his moment.
The Undertaker’s eerie music played as the lights dimmed to the usual. Smoke surrounding the ring, and the ramp and balls of fire shot up. The Phenom made his way down to the ring ever so slowly. The question on everyone’s mind since the last Shockwave was if either one of these men had any fear. The Undertaker did not, never has he ever had any fear, and what was probably scary about this match was that Sting didn’t have an ounce of fear either.
The Undertaker walked up the steel steps and lifted his arms up, the lights came on and he rolled his eyes to the back of his head, he took off his hood and snarled at his opponent before getting into the ring. The crowd already chanting “This is awesome.” as the two men were now staring each other down, in the middle of the ring.
The lights went off, and Sting’s music started playing. A single white spot light hit the rafters. Sting held up his trusty baseball bad, before slowly coming down from the rafters by a zip line and landing somewhere in the crowd. He walked through the crowd over the barricade and into the ring. Sting pointed the bat towards the entrance, more than ready for his opponent’s arrival, before he took off the long black trench coat.
After the vignette for the match played all of the lights in the arena were off. A spotlight shined down on the stage showing a graveyard. Random people were shoveling dirt into the open hole. The camera panned in closer to get a closer look at the tombstone. Written on it was “The Undertaker vs. Sting” Lighting struck, sending the people running. The lighting setting the tombstone a blaze. Suddenly The Deadman rose up from his coffin in the dirt that was about to be buried alive in and the spotlight went off.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, tonight, we cannot bring you the highly anticipated women's championship match, between champion Paige and Aj Lee. We're sorry.
Intercontinental championship scramble- WrestleFest.
Jeff Hardy and Evan Bourne started off WrestleFest's scramble match for the Intercontinental Title. Both men started the match off trying to use headlocks to weaken their opponent as well as roll ups to to gain leverage and in score a pinfall early in in the match but neither man could get a pinfall on the other before the five minute time limit ran out and Jessicka Havok's titantron played and she made her way down to ringside and entered the fray. Jessicka stood back and watched as hardy and Bourne tried to wear the other down but as Hardy went for another pinfall, Jessicka broke it up by stomping on Hardy and pulling him off Bourne. Great game plan by Havok but can she win this match using this tactic? Hardy and Havok began to fight as Bourne tried to recover in the corner. Jeff Hardy hit a sick reverse-flip powerbomb on Jessicka to score a pin to become current Intercontinental champion. Just before 10:00, Jessicka returned the favor by nailing The Demon Drop on Jeff Hardy to become current Intercontinental champion. As Jessicka Havok celebrated, then CM Punk came out as the fourth person in the ring. Jessicka Havok and Jeff Hardy were quickly dumped to the floor, setting up CM Punk and Evan Bourne to battle in the ring. CM Punk wanted to hit the the GTS on Evan Bourne bur Shelton, but Jessicka Havok came out of nowhere with a sick high-kick on CM Punk that popped the crowd. Jeff Hardy taking advantage of the situation and showing his ring seniority, then stacked up CM Punk and Evan Bourne in the corner for the double-foot thrust kick on both men. And at 15:00, Sami Callihan entered the ring and charged after Jessicka Havok the current Intercontinental champion. Not sure if it was personal of not but Sami Callihan cleaned house, then he dropped Jessicka Havok with a big Double A style spinebuster in the center of the ring. CM Punk ran at Sami Callihan but Calliahn dumped CM Punk to the floor. Sami Callihan then measured Jessicka Havok for the Headlock Driver and connected. He quickly rolled over Jessicka Havok and picked up the pin with 4 minutes remaining and became the new Intercontinental Champion. Evan Bourne attacked him and the two rolled out of the ring fighting. Evan Bournc throws Sami Callihan into the steel steps and both men fall down from pain and exhaustion and try and regroup on the mats outside. Jeff Hardy and CM Punk trade blows in ring and Jeff Hardy nails the Twist of Fate on CM Punk at 2:50 to pick up the pin and become current Intercontinental champion. Jessicka tries to take out Jeff Hardy but he hits a twist of fate on her and then went up top, but Sami Callihan crotched Jeff Hardy on the top turnbuckle. Sami Callihan then quickly picked up Jessicka Havok and gave her the Headlock Driver a second time for another pin to become Intercontinental champion at 2:00. As Sami Callihan takes a breathier in the corner, Jeff Hardy with the Swanton on Jessicka Havok to pick up the pin behind Sami's back and become the new Intercontinental Champion. Sami Callihan is angry and wants a Headlock Driver on Jeff Hardy, but Jeff Hardy dumped Sami Callihan to the floor. Jeff Hardy splashed Sami Callihan on the floor with 1:15 left. Both are laid out on the floor. Back in the ring with 1:00 left, CM Punk and Jessicka Havok battled. Suddenly, Bourne did a cat like leap over CM Punk onto Jessicka Havok for a big Tower of Doom spot. Jeff Hardy then slipped into the ring and gave CM Punk the Whisper in the Wind. He then nailed Bourne with the Swanton with 20 seconds left. Jeff landed, but was pushed out of the way at the last second by Sami. Sami covered 1...2...3! Sami was now the champion, and there was only ten seconds left to go. Havok quickly picked Sami up and hit him with the Demon drop, going for the cover, trying to win the title in the final seconds! 1...2... *BZZZZ* The buzzer sounded before the ref counted 3 "Here is your winner, and still intercontinental champion, Sami Callahan!"
Sami’s music blared through the arena and the reigning champ appeared behind the curtains. The place going dark as he did. “Please stand by..” A electronic voice signaled as the place began to fill with alerting sounds. The crowd was confused out of their minds and had no idea what was going on but, when the lights turned back on, Sami appeared in the ring. He held his title high and had a microphone in his hand. His voice was somewhat mysterious as he spoke. “Run.” The crowd was confused and what just happened but, the match was about to continue on.
Jessicka appeared from behind the curtain as her music started. The woman had on her signature gas mask and clenched her fists before looking around. The crowd had a mix of cheers and boos for the lady and all it caused was her to smirk. She walked down the long ramp and circled around the ring before getting on the apron. She put up her signature hand signal before getting in the ring. She slowly took off her mask and did a scream of vengeance, growling as she looked out to the crowd.
The fans give a huge pop as Punk does his usual in ring taunts with the fans. He bends down and then cups his hands to his mouth and yells. “It’s Clobberin Time.”He slowly makes his way down to the ring and rolls into the ring.
"Prodi! Gia! Complor! Atus! Silens! Oro! Regnet exitium!"
That was all that needed to be said in order to have the man formerly known as Red X, the former World Heavyweight Champion, and the now resident friendly neighborhood highflyer, Evan Bourne, to bust right through the curtain. With his signature peace sign high in the air, he looked from left to right to see his own fans standing tall in the crowd, awaiting for him to fight in the first annual WrestleFest. As focused as ever, Evan ran right down the ramp and leaped up and landed on his left knee, sliding right into the ring, popping back up on a knee with his peace sign coming high into the air.
"In the ring, From St. Louis, Missouri. Evan! Bourne!"
"Another Me" blared through out the speakers. The lights went off, and the crowd got to experience a free laser show for about a minute before Jeff Hardy emerged through the curtain wearing a weird transformer looking mask with horns on it. In his mind he told him that if he didn’t walk out victorious that he would do something he had never done in his life, and quit. No one knew except him, but you could see something different in Jeff’s eyes. The camera panned up closer to Jeff’s masked face as he paused walking at the end of the ramp. He held up the Hardy guns and then made the letter "R" with his fingers for his daughter Ruby. Jeff got into the ring and got up on the ropes doing his signature pose, he jumped off and did the same pose at the opposite corner before taking off the mask and growling at the camera.
The following contest is a championship scramble for the intercontinental championship!
Natalya vs. Tamina "I Quit" Match for the Divas title- WrestleFest
Bret and Jim got chairs and sat down at ringside to watch the match. The official called for the bell and Natalya extended out her hand to Tamina to show good sportsmanship. Tamina looked down at Natalya, as if this was some kind of joke and slapped her hand away before pushing her. Natalya looked down, and shook her head before looking back up at Tamina and pushing her back. Natalya retaliated by tackling her to the mat and throwing punches at her. Tamina blocked the punches and Natalya got up, pulling Tamina up by the hair. “Don’t you dare disrespect me!” Natalya yelled at her before slamming Tamina’s head down to the mat. Natalya smirked as she stood above Tamina. Tamina rolled on her back and Natalya grabbed her arms up and stepped on her hair, pulling her arms as she stood on her hair. “Ask her! Ask her now!” Natalya ordered the ref to ask Tamina if she wanted to quit now, wanting to end this match quickly.
"Tamina do you-"
"NO!" Tamina yelled at the ref, she wasn’t going to give up this easily.
Natalya leaned over to talk to Tamina. “Come on Tamina, just qui-“
She was cut off when Tamina kicked her in the head. Natalya staggered back after the kick, and Tamina had just enough to get up and and clothesline Natalya over the ropes and out onto the floor. Tamina rolled out of the ring and went underneath for a steel chair. Natalya got up to her feet and Tamina hit her in the gut with the chair. Natalya tumbled down to her hands and knees and Tamina his her on the back with the chair. Jim and Bret looked on with a concern look as Natalya tried to crawl away but Tamina kept hitting her over and over again with the chair. The chair bent and Tamina tossed it to the side. Natalya went under the apron but was pulled out by her legs from Tamina, and once she was pulled out she sprayed the foam from a fire extinguisher at Tamina. Tamina was stunned for a moment, and leaned over the steal steps. Natalya got up and her in the back of her left leg with the fire extinguisher. She put down the weapon and dragged Tamina up by her hair, she went to slam her head down on the steel steps but Tamina put her hands down on the steps and elbowed Natalya in the face, Natalya then kicked her in the back of her left leg sending Tamina down. The current Divas champion put her hands up and turned to face the crowd. “That’s how it’s done.” She smirked as some fans booed her. Natalya’s over convince got in the way of her and she turned around to be met with a kendo stick to the gut from Tamina. Tamina then used the kendo stick to choke Natalya. She applied more pressure to it when she dropped to her back and wrapped her legs around Natalya’s waist. “Ask her!”
"Natalya do you quit?"
"No" Natalya gasped out.
The champion managed to pry herself out of Tamina’s grip, pulling her legs apart, that weren’t as securely locked around her waist, and elbowing her in the gut. Natalya then crawled around to the other side of the ring, by the ramp to get some distance from her opponent. She looked under the ring, and dragged out a table. Natalya was about to set it up when all of a sudden Tamina came up from behind grabbed Natalya by the hair and threw her into the barricade. The commentators noted that this wasn’t a match, it was an all out brawl between the two ladies. Tamina speared Natalya, causing the barricade to bend. She moved the table out of her way as she measured up Natalya and went for a second spear this time breaking down the barricade. The shocked crowd started chanting “Holy shit!” and Jim even stood up from his seat. “She’s fine, she’s a tough cookie.” Bret assured him that his daughter was okay. The ref checked on both of them and even asked Natalya if she quit and of course she replied with a no.
Tamina started moving and got up, staggering over to the table, her leg was still in pain from the fire extinguisher earlier, but she shook it off and set up the table. Tamina finished setting up the table and turned around just in time to block a punch from Natalya and slam her head down on the ring apron. Tamina had a smile on her face as she laid out Natalya on the table. She went up on the apron and slowly climbed up the ropes she went for a superfly splash on Natalya but in the last minute Natalya rolled off the table and Tamina crashed into table. Again both girls were down and the ref asked both of if they quit, and they both said no.
Natalya soon got up to her feet and leaned against the barricade, she saw Tamina get up to her hands and knees and viciously kicked her in the gut. She went over to the camera guy and unplugged the chord, cutting off the camera. She used the chord and wrapped it around Tamina’s neck choking her, and used it to drag her around and throw her into the post. She then used the chord to actually tie Tamina around the ring post. Tamina was stuck with no where to go and Natalya grabbed yet another camera. She pushed the camera man, and hit Tamina in the head with camera. The fans at home got to see a good shot, of the camera going right to Tamina’s head before it cut off and switched to another angle. The camera to the head busted Tamina open and the champion had huge grin on her face. “Go on ask her.” The ref went to ask Tamina if she quit.
"No, I don’t." Tamina muttered.
Natalya threw her hands up in frustration before looking underneath the ring and taking out a trash can lid. She was going to hit Tamina in the midsection with it but Tamina managed to get her foot up and kick the lid into Natalya’s midsection instead. Natalya got back up as Tamina was trying to wiggle her way out of the chord, Natalya charged at her and this time caught the leg, but Tamina lifted up her other leg and kicked Natalya in the head, knocking her down to a daze long enough to get out of the chord on the ring post.
Once out, she tackled Natalya into the barricade, grabbed her by the hair and then threw her to the ring post. Natalya was dazed once again, and Tamina took this time to remove a section of the mat on the floor. Tamina wiped away some blood that was dripping down to her eyes and grabbed Natalya, putting her in position for a suplex onto the hard ground. Natalya tried to block and counter it, but Tamina ended up getting the upper hand. Natalya cried out in pain as her back hit the hard floor, it hurt but it wasn’t going to make her quit.
Tamina got up and attempted to put Natalya in the sharpshooter, but Natalya kicked her in the butt causing her to fall over. As both girls were on the floor trying to get up, they wondered what exactly they would have to do to get the other one to say I quit. It took a little while, but soon they were up on their feet, and trading punches, left and right at each other, before Natalya slammed Tamina’s head onto the apron and then pushed her into the ring. Natalya then made her way around to her dad and held out her hands. “Dad, give me.”
Her father then gave her two pairs of handcuffs. Natalya then slid back into the ring and hit Tamina in the head with the cuffs before cuffing her wrist together with one and then cuffing her to the bottom rope with the other pair. Her dad then slid a chair into the ring, and with Tamina having no way out, she hit her left leg a few times. Natalya’s smirk grew wider the more Tamina cried out in pain. She then put her foot through the chair and stomped on it as hard as she could. Natalya continued to use the chair to weaken the leg more, before setting up to put Tamina in the sharpshooter.
"This is how it’s done!" Natalya yelled at her before putting her in the submission hold..
The ref asked Tamina if she quit and Tamina said no, causing Natalya to apply even more pressure and bending back.
"Ask her again." Natalya told the ref to ask Tamina again, he did and she said no. Natalya was starting to get frustrated and leaned back down further, almost bending Tamina in half.
"Tamina do you quit?" The ref asked her one time.
Tears rolled down Tamina’s eyes, and finally she said “I quit. I quit.”
The ref had to pull Natalya off of Tamina as Natalya’s music started playing.
Natalya took a bow in the middle of the ring as she was announced the winner and still the Divas champion.
Instead of Natalya’s entrance theme playing, the Hart Foundation’s theme blared throughout the speakers. Natalya ran out through the curtains and held her Divas title up high with pride with a huge smile on her face. “Yeah!!!” Natalya screamed out before going to the back and returning back out with her father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart and her uncle Bret Hart. The crowd were on their feet, cheering loudly for the surprise of the two legends. Natalya went around and slap the hands of the people in the front row, giving out hugs and even Bret gave a small boy his signature pink shades. The trio were being extremely friendly to the crowd before Natalya hugged both of her family members and got into the ring, already her heart was pounding with excitement. It felt great to not only be apart of the first WrestleFest, but to be defending the Divas title at the first WrestleFest.
