Riku chuckled as he ran with Sora to the beach on Destiny Islands carrying him in his arms. “You know you like this Sora, admit it.” He eventually put him down when they got to the beach. “So what do you want to do today Sora?” He asked Sora as he sat and looked out to the ocean.

“Maybe I do, maybe I don’t,” he replied teasingly and grinned at him once he was put down, hands behind his head. He did like it, yet hated admitting it. He was 16, not a child. “Mmm... I was gonna suggest a sparring match, but I’m too bored right now.” Sitting down next to him, he added, “Oh! How about a race to the last tree?” He pointed to one far in the distance. “I’ll beat you this time!”

Roxas knew that Xion was out for a solo mission today, but hadn’t come back yet. It took her longer than usual, so he was worried. He got out to look for her with Saix’s permission and suddenly, she appeared before him, whispering something to herself. “Hey, Xion! There you are. I’ve been looking for you. ...Are you okay? Your jacket’s kinda... off.”
