I am in a little bit on a Placebo perspective, you know? It’s pretty cool being up here and looking at all you guys. And sometimes it’s quite funny looking at all you guys you know. And we’ll never be able to see ourselves play, and one thing you’ll never be able to do is see yourselves see us play; and one thing that you guys don’t get is that there’s some people in the front, they hold up signs you see. It’s even quite amusing over here we have the Placebo addicts who wearing an orange T-shirt they look like they ’re in jail. Just here a person says “I’ll die smilling with your pick”. We’re gonna put this to the test. “Securtity man, whould you please give this to that girl over there?” she said she was gonna die. She’s still alive! You’ve been dishonest! And there one here that says “GO, Steph, GO, black nails rules, they’re blue. One from China "Brian, Stephan, Fiona, Nick and that weird guy who wear glasses and plays bass sometime. Sorry, that we says Bill, it was Bill birthday yesterday, so please welcome. It’s a song about Bill, it’s called Julien!

Happy Birthday Depeche Mode with your single ‘Suffer Well’ released on 27|3|2006, 8 years ago !

“Suffer Well" is the 3rd single from the album Playing The Angel (Produced by Ben Hillier) & the 1st single from Depeche Mode that had lyrics written by Dave Gahan ! Since 1981, Martin Gore had written all lyrics for the singles releases. In1981 Vince Clark wrote the single ‘Just can’t get enough’ for DM).

'Suffer Well' was compared with 'Better Days' as a B-side.The video (filmed by Anton Corbijn) features a cameo appearance by Gahan’s wife, Jennifer, once as the angel and once as herself. Another cameo is by the band’s manager, Jonathan Kessler, who plays Gahan’s limo driver. Other highlights include Gore as a bride and Fletcher as a groom. Dave Gahan recorded a special vocal track for the song; with help from EA GAMES the lyrics were translated into “Simlish” (the language of the gameThe Sims 2) and later appeared as one of the game’s new songs.
