This amazing group of young, confident, strong fitness professionals made my first class since July one of the best for the year! If you or anyone you know are interested in starting a career in fitness, (based on education, service, and results), please check out the GoodLife Personal Training Institute (GLPTI). My wife and I work hard to give London advantages in life that we missed growing up. We know this will positively help his development but we sometimes wonder if he will be missing out. The culture that raised us made us who we are and definitely had its advantages as well. We are blessed to live and work downtown but we will forever be grateful to Rexdale. Thankfully, in every community in this great city there is the barbershop; Our Stonehenge, our Rock of Gibraltar. Every week for 25 years this is the place I "re-ground," decompress, and get up to speed on all things Toronto. During the work week this is where I connect with my roots. This week LB visited the #madonebarbershop and met the legends @kingmad1 and @therealtmajor two people I respect and rely on greatly. London didn't get a cut but I look forward to sharing this tradition with him soon! When You Look At Me Now

So when you look at me now and see the team I lead are the brightest and best trainers in the country, hungry to change to face of fitness and health, know that I’ve been preparing for these moments every step of the way. Know that I’ve fought and fallen, gotten up and fallen again. But when I look at all I have achieved, know that I can look at myself every morning, look my newborn in his eyes with his mother who brought him into this world and say that I am one of the few to follow my passion through to ultimate success.
