Every time I play it makes me want to draw lions....
Sorry for never posting, Iāve gotten back into Lioden. Hereās my heir! (posed and lab-frogged).
WHOās PLAYING LIODEN!!! add me so i can draw your kitties!Ā #194310
oh dearā¦
cuz All the Stars in Texas aināt got nothinā on your eyes when you say āLetās hit āem one more time.ā
Pardon my spam as I upload all my babies. š
DumisaĀ (supposedly Zulu for āpraiseā or āhonourā) was my first attempt at creating a lion themed around a specific event to showcase on the Lioden Wiki.Ā She doesnāt really have any purpose other than to grab the attention of players on the homepage during the December event.
I headcanon her as actually hating cold weather and unintentionally coming off as rude or sassy when sheās really just cold, omg someone get this lion a sweater pls sheās suffering.Ā I also consider her to be the half-sister of Fitiavana,Ā another lion designed for the Wiki to showcase an event, and this is honestly just because I accidentally designed them both using Piebald (Frail) and didnāt want to change either one of them because Frail is so cute and pure.
cause babyā¦. ur a lion
i love my lion
Wouldnāt it be something if Xylax drew our lions as human/lion uncanny valley creatures like from Cats as an April Fools joke.
i have an albino base primal lioness that i plan on selling for cheap once she grows up if anyoneās interested š
She slaps her own flirts š¤·š»āāļø She doesnāt need Creole to defend her, and truth be told heās mildly afraid of her anyway.
Hmmā¦ā¦
ā¦..Mad Max themed lion
...Excuse me???
I'm probably gonna be adding my to favorite girls to Reverse Breeding soon.
One girl is a Ebony and the other is a Velvet.
Both girls are clean.

On Gender and Knitting
Iāve been thinking about this blog post for about a year now, and now seems around the right time to write it.
I was setting myself up at a craft fair last month when someone paused by my stall, looked at my stock and said with an uncertain smile; āKnitting? Thatās a bit unusual for a man, isnāt it?ā
It is, by no means, the worst reaction I could have received. I smiled back a bit awkwardly and explained that yes, some people may think so, but my dad had taught me and my brother to knit when I was very young and Iād never found it odd.
I didnāt explain that I was a trans man. I didnāt say about how I honestly considered giving up fibrecrafts during the darkest days of my transition because of attitudes like that. I said nothing about the history of knitting, about the men-only knitting guilds and about how the perception of fibre crafts as āwomenās workā has historically tied in to its devaluation as a craft following industrialisation and mass consumerism and about the ridiculous misogyny that shift signifies.
Iāve been on testosterone for 22 months now, and Iām happy that I mostly pass, though rarely as a straight man (which would be boring anyway). However, I have noticed a definite trend; the one thing that seems to get me most misgendered isnāt my voice, or my face, or my chest, even when not wearing a binder.
Itās my knitting.
Yup - even with two weeks worth of stubble and a sore throat, people look at me knitting and think āah, yes, a young woman knitting merrily along her way, why she even has a beard like my dear old Grandma.ā
Itās silly. Itās silly when people address knitting circles or craft groups as āladiesā. Itās silly when Iām told to apply for a womenās enterprise award because āeveryone in this craft group should apply,ā despite the group including numerous cis men. Itās silly when almost every pattern book has a menās section which includes the sentiments of āhereās something nice to make for your boyfriend!ā
Itās silly. Stop it.
Knitting - and crochet - are only gender-biased because we made them so, just like everything else.

Iām bringing this back because after 27 months of T I am confidently passing in all social situations, other than the ones with knitting involved.
Very tempted to just knit myself a jumper with the words I AM A MAN on it and seeing what the response is.
