i could write this about so many characters but izuku midoriya has become one of my favourites. his sensitivity and kindness has genuinely touched me; i finished mha last week (after i dropped it midway through season 5 in 2022) and to see that he stayed true to himself and his goals always, being so selfless, and more importantly, a hero, had me in tears by the time i'd finished it. i literally felt like his mother cheering him on

the conversation he had with aizawa in the timeskip about his past and where he is now was beautiful. though he has lost his quirk, he continues to strive because he wants to teach and inspire a new generation. he chose to give up his quirk despite being bullied his whole life for being quirkless. the same quirk he inherited from his hero. he is so dear to me

i remember when my bf got me into f1 and i saw people saying "the driver chooses you" and i didn't believe it at first until i started off supporting carlos sainz and ended up with oscar piastri + both mercedes drivers...

then my bf got me into motogp & he loves marc marquez, despite all his mm93 propaganda (still love him) here i am now. fabio quartararo has chosen me.

i dont dislike any drivers/riders these are just my favourites!

so at the monaco grand prix, kimi:

started on pole

didn't lose any places at the start OR the standing restart

was 40+ seconds in the lead at one point

kept the lead even through 2 safety cars, a red flag, and a standing restart

won the race by 6.2 seconds despite restarting on lap 68/78

set the fastest lap of the race on lap 76

managed to avoid the scrutiny of the stewards in a race where more than half of the grid was serving penalties or being investigated

scored his first career grand slam and became the youngest driver to do so

won his 5th consecutive race

broke his own record, becoming the first driver to win their first 5 races consecutively
