"WARNING SONG"
Intricate and fierce cello, vocal and visual storytelling.
My favorite feedback so far, "Whoooooaaaa that was beautiful and terrifying!!"
Warning Song, composed by Ted Hearne is meant to be presented with the solo vocal and cello parts played against a backing track of prerecorded cellos. I decided to make the accompanying tracks visible. I wanted to suggest possible narratives for the evocative lyrics written by Meghan Deans. And it was a chance to visualize the intersecting rhythmic intricacies and layering of the accompanying parts.
