'Learn-sit' is my reflective thoughts and insights about what I experience, engage with and explore about my self and life around me. I believe that activism can not stand without both of learning and unlearning. Hereby, I do capture all those those glimpses I go through. I share my thoughts, my questions and even my confusion. I do that to track how my consciences develops. I do also welcome all kinds of feedback.

On being a ‘freelancer’!

Working on freelance basis allow me continuously to educate my self, reading and researching for producing some thing is act of creation. I always fall on love of pieces I produce. I admit that and I try hard not to let this feeling bling me from understanding all critiques or feedback I get

مساحة: أكثر من مجرد دعم

هناك الكثير مما تعجز الأرقام عن إحصائه عندما يأتي الأمر لرصد أثر تجربة متفاعلة مع محيطها كتجربة مساحة، فإن كانت في بدايتها ركزت على أن تكون مساحة توفر الدعم - بمعنييه اللوجستي و الفني - للمجموعات والمبادرات النشطة، إلا أنه مع الوقت أصبحت مساحة تمثل لكثير من الشباب الذين عملنا معهم مجالا للأمل في وقت استهلكتنا فيه إحباطات الشأن العام المتكررة، للدرجة التي أصبحت مساحة ندافع من خلالها عن كل تلك الأمال التي حملناها. ومع تزايد التضييق على الشباب، بدأ الحاجة تكون ملحة لمساحات آمنة وسط مجال عام آخذ في الانكماش ولم يعد مرحباً بالقدر الكافي الذي يمكن الشباب من التحرك والمبادرة، وهو ما يضاعف من مسئوليتنا - رغم قدراتنا المحدودة - في الحفاظ على مثل تلك المساحات الباقية.

Here, I’m back. I failed to hack time. it went quickly.  this time I hope much focus I can develop

Two months

Today is Nov 18th, two months have gone. I didn’t feel, they ran. 

I’m not satisfied, it is not Yassein. 

I should work harder :)

The hardest thing, Oneself

The hardest thing of this experience is that living alone and away let the one rediscover himself and think many time of what he does and his habitus in life. It is opportunity to revisit every thing and take brave decisions like rehabilitate oneself.  ---  side notes:

Habitus (Bourdieu, 1987) can be defined as the individual's personality structure—the composite of an individual's lifestyle, values, dispositions, and expectations associated with particular social groups that are acquired through the activities and experiences of everyday life.
