Different types of Cranes
Cranes has a lot of designed predominately to move the weights with the helps of levers or pulleys. Cranes is used since year 2000, although they look like modern. One of the races that use to build large monuments and churches was the Romans. There are different types of cranes that use in different variety of work, these are:
Mobile Cranes This Mobile Crane has telescopic boom that is mounted on a movable platform. The levers or pulleys will raise the boom of this crane. These cranes are usually found the hook at the e nd of this crane. These cranes are very suitable to the city work and it can be easily transported effectively. This has a wheel that designed like the railroad tracks or the caterpillar tracks. These are also used for demolition purpose or for earthmoving; the end of the crane can be change to a ball or wrecking bucket that depends on the crane job.
Loader cranes These types of cranes are made up of hydraulic powered booms that are fit on to trailers, they usually load goods onto the trailer and when not in use the joint of the boom is folded. These cranes are fairly similar to the telescopic cranes as on some section of this type of crane, these are a section of boom that used telescope for easier use.
The floating cranes are one of the types of the loaders cranes. These cranes involves in the shipping industry. These cranes used in situated work, usually construction of ports in the water. They can also helps to unload ships and they are specifically designed for handling very heavy loads.
Tower cranes
These cranes are commonly used in the construction site, this is not moveable base. These are very taller and the construction of the cranes has to occur section by section. The boom of these cranes is perpendicular to the base and the look is like a long ladder. These cranes are usually used for sky scraper construction and building a tall buildings.
