indefinite hiatus

I’ve decided to not tumblr anymore. This is v much a spontaneous decision (otherwise i would never leave omg). It’s based off more personal things (nothing worrying dw i just need some time to myself ? idk how to explain it) than my experience on here which has been awesome tysm everyone! I hope you all understand <3 i may be back? but definitely not any time soon <3 

I want to say a few personal thank yous before i leave because?!!  I love you all so much okay this is not in order like i don’t rank my love that’s weird + i’m rly sorry if i’ve forgotten ppl omg it’s not intentional i swear i’m just a doof like that. + pls bear in mind i’m very bad with words so i can’t properly convey my love for u lot i’m terrible

I’m taking 4th year Spanish next year which I know is basically the same as 3rd year but imagine someone with the attention span of a goldfish and knows a 3rd grade level of Spanish and that was my Spanish teacher last year and on top of that I have the difficult (but actually teaches) teacher this year

has water tracker for each day (I’m v bad at keeping track of how much water I drink; it’s v little actually, so these water droplet thingies sort of help overcome the prob. They denote the avg # of glasses of water a person should consume/day.)

31/06/2016 [I’ve given up with 100 days of productivity 🙃] I can’t seem to concentrate or get myself motivated at all. I spent all morning sat at my desk stressing and researching an idea I had but I can’t find a way to do it and now I’m just frustrated. Whenever I do any work, it just feels so fucking redundant and when I attempted a past paper it made me feel completely hopeless. I thought this summer I would be able to redeem myself and get out of this dip, but instead I’m in my room at 2:33pm still in my pyjamas giving an illusion of doing work to my family by putting shit everywhere. I can’t think and I just want to be able to do something. My mind is concentrating on too many things at once - things that I can’t solve. Ideas that are so fucking dumb and just sjgishsjwbdoshzjhwhe pls send help and like 7372947822 study motivators who will study with me and like restore my will to live thx

I feel like not many studyblrs are very good at being honest, so let me just tell you how much I had to open my damn blinds to get that top-notch lighting. Lighting. Is. Everything. Anyway, July is coming to an end and next month means registration and the new school year… pretty anxious, but exciting; I gave myself a lot of pep talks this week. As many of you guys have heard, my main goal was to finish The Kite Runner this week, and let me just tell you- you have to read this freaking book. Like, it pretty much ruined my life, but you have to read it. It was so good. And I don’t give book recs very often, so take this seriously!

{31/07/16} - hERE IS my august spread!! the goal for this month is to cultivate more self love and be gentle with myself :’) really really hope august will be an easier month, with less trials but more triumphs! i asked a few friends of mine what they thought the theme colour for august should be, and many agreed that it should be a orange/red/pink theme!

the book on the right is ruin and rising by leigh bardugo which i finished yesterday.. it was the last book of an amazing series but i was a bit upset over the ending.. and the book on the left (though u cant really see) is illuminae by amie kaufman! i 100% recommend it! it was a spellbinding book which left me stunned??? i was up till 2 reading it on a school night can you believe smh

School is coming up, or has already started, for many people. I thought it would be a good idea to release a printable for note-taking for those, like me, who dislike regular notebook paper. :)

Features

8.5x11in; regular paper size.

300px per inch; high quality.

Three versions: Regular, Hole-punch (which has space for hole-punching), and Cornell.

All three have two kinds of headers: Regular and Small.

Both kinds of headers have a large box to the left to put the title, and a small box to the right where you can put your name, the date, the class period, etc.

All three have a “back page” with no header. Hole-punch also has a front page with-no-header and a back page for double-sided printing.

All three have two line-color options: Light (grey) and Dark (grey).

*Only Regular and Hole-punch have a grid version in Light and Dark.

PDFs are available to print double-sided. (Header & Back, Small Header & Back, and Back & Back. Hole-punch also has Front with-no-header & Back.)

PNGs are also available, just in case!

i was inspired by @etudiance‘s  5 top tips on maths post (here) - and like it was such a neat idea?? so i kinda wanna do a ‘5 top tips’ series thing of posts!! as an alternative to making masterposts as 5 top tips is a bit more personal + links in m/p tend to be a bit erratic :) 

potential things i could cover in this ‘series’?? : as/a levels, gcses, habits, stationery (?), back to school, my revision strategies, etc.
