Dawn at Husvik

This dawn scene was photographed in South Georgia whilst I was working on the South Georgia Heritage Trust’s rat eradication project.. Many of the beaches near abandoned whaling stations, such as this one at Husvik, are still cluttered with the slow decaying bones of whales that were harvested here between 1910-1960. They serve as reminder to how destructive our race can be on the natural environment.

Why is everyone so obsessed with sex? Intellect is so hard to come by in a world where everyone thinks their nudes are worth $15/month.

So many advancements could be made if people funneled the same amount of energy into anthropology, archaeology, and philosophy. We may have surpassed written history in technological capability, but we're losing the very intelligence that separates us from other animals.

By all means, everyone should fulfill there sexual desires within a legal spectrum, but the line between indulgence and compulsion is becoming nonexistent. The "fuck you, pay me" attitude is infecting more of the population, who's content is lackluster at best.

There's no mystery as to why we've been evolutionarily haulted when the predominant thought in everyone's mind is an orgasm.
