Thanksgiving

So this week is the autumnal celebration of thanks. It'll be nice to be home with family again. Yet, I can't help but have trepidation for the following: 

I will meet my niece for the first time again. [When I first met her she was like 8 days old, and she probably doesn't remember me] I hope she likes her dear old Uncle _____ [you will not know what they call me]

My sister (bless her heart) will officially attempt to prepare items of the autumnal celebration feast. She cannot cook, and musn't be allowed in the kitchen. I pray we survive if she does.

My lady friend will be my companion. [Need I say more?]

Me mum will be extremely affectionate. [She often forgets that I turned ten like 12 years ago] I think she has issues with children growing up or something [not sure if that is a real disorder]

I will get to see my sister and her husband's new home. [I wonder if I'll....yea trepidation]

There you have it. Thus is why I am a little apprehensive. Nevertheless, it's time for "thanks"

Mornings without coffee are like air without oxygen...pointless

Ghastly isn't it? The thought of a morning without a sweet cup of joe to wake you up. The nerve of the world to expect you to actually like being out of your bed and being productive. 

It would seem as though the almighty cup of joe wins nine out of ten, but why? Simplest answer is addiction. We have formed a habit out of it and therefore have a habitual need for coffee. We teach it to children with adult behavior, and we reinforce it in adulthood with long, rigorous work schedules.  

It is completely normal to expect someone to be an over-sized gremlin on the verge of issuing a flaming roundhouse if they haven't had a cup of the stuff yet. Let alone the fact that you are asking questions. Just remember to duck, or wear shoulder pads, I hear they can be quite gnarly...

SN: The title is completely true, without oxygen in the air we wouldn't be able to breath.

Recently I have devised a theory that our leasing office is cloaked in a force field. While I am not physicist I formed this theory from the following. 1.) There has been no traffic in this office from newcomers or potential prospects. Well that was the only reason, but a completely valid argument not the less.
