TRUST NPC // Mik'hal Zarasten

Selection: “I’ve got it covered.”

Job: Confederate (DPS Role)

Weapons: Guns, crossbow bolts, Flamethrowers, and a general disregard for physics. 

AI Behavior: As a ranged DPS, Mik’hal will stay towards the back of the group. He will attack the same target as the tank, focusing on single file attacks unless there are 3+ enemies. In that case he will deploy a range of AOE attacks, including bullet hail. Crossbow bolts and a flamethrower. When his gauges are raised he will automatically deploy his turret. He typically will blow cool downs at the beginning and midpoints of boss fights, or if he is the only one left alive. When a boss reaches 15% health, he will deploy a limit break.

“I’ve got more tricks!” - Using Specialty Skills, Variation 2

“I can’t help much...” - Assisting an ally

“Time for target practise!” - Using limit break with 2 bars

“I don’t have a lot of choice...” - Using limit break with 3 bars

i just hit MCH 76, so that being said i just unlocked the final ability that uses this gun. as a result, i thought i might as well whip up a really quick reference post of how the gun operates for each move, because suprisingly the gun is held differently depending on what’s being executed. pictures have captions, but in order from top left to bottom right: drill, auto crossbow, bioblaster, and air anchor.

Glass Cage You feel disconnected from the world around you. You can see everything, everyone can see you, but you’re not really there. No one can really communicate with you, can they? You’re isolated, even when you’re around people you’re alone.

You want desperately to be close to someone, but you’re afraid of what will happen if you shatter your glass prison. You don’t want to let someone in, you don’t want to leave, and it’s a constant battle of your own will.

It’s easier to be alone, where no one can hurt you… Isn’t it?

17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

“I…. “ Mik sighs heavily. “I’ve got a few kids. I’ve only met one of them and I’m really okay with that. I was kind of… really… uhm… friendly before I left the village I grew up in. Kids definitely weren’t the intent though at the time.”

“I was engaged once. Things didn’t go well. They… died.”

48. Is there anything in particular that would ignite your character’s jealousy? Or does your character not get envious?

“Not really? I like to think I’m pretty relaxed about things.”

((Mik does get a little jealous of people being really lovely dovey with each other, but it comes across more as a ‘ugh getta room’ reaction. I don’t think he even realizes that he’s doing it or why.))
