Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

Sometimes I under appreciated my sister. Her being the oldest, I forget that she watched me fight to become me, she played a big part in who I am. Lastnight she saw you. & you were telling her how much you miss me, but here's the scary part, I was just talking about you the other day and how I envy people who can still talk to their first love. How they can still be good friends without it being awkward or falling back into bad habits. I wished that for us. If not ending up together, then to be in each others lives forever. First and foremost, you were my Best friend. There was nothing that you didn't know about me. There was nothing that wasn't mine that wasn't yours. And if it's one thing I regret about our relationship, is that we couldn't keep that promise to each other. I still find myself wanting to call you when something is hilarious or I get lost in my mind. You could easily ease my worries or just laugh it off with me. I miss that. I miss the fact you were one call away and now it feels like you're just a stranger that knows me too well. I hope in time, we can hash things out and possibly become friends again, because since you, there's has never been another best friend that gets me like you.
