Basically my some of my favourite fics in honour of 1DAAW week.
First of all, I want to say sorry because I feel like this is a bit of a lame contribution, but unfortunately, I’m busy as hell at the moment. But no matter what I wanted to throw something out there this week. Anyway, here are some of my favourite fics of all time and I hope you guys can get a chance to read these amazing works yourself or if you have read them, admire them with me! Enjoy!

Would this really be a ficrec if I wasn’t gushing over how much I’m in love with Katie and her writing?
Both fics in this series follow work addict Georgina ‘Fergie’ Ferguson and her friends as they jet off on their annual vacations in gorgeous locations. A classic friends to lovers/hidden relationship gem that keeps me wanting more, Katie know just how to write! Her ability to create the witty dialogue that makes you envy the relationships of her characters is phenomenal and is the reason I look forward to her writing.
Under My Skin by @booksncoffee
If there is anything I love more than an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it’s the inspiration it gave Ezria.
Under My Skin follows two colleges, Brooklyn and Niall, and their workplace wager. The banter between these two leaves me grinning like a child every time, making me sad to think that their story is coming to an end- but happy I have had the chance to read it.
Forever Hold Your Peace by @cheesewithchips
Whoever knew that a spoilt and jealous college based Harry Styles was all that was missing from my life? Apparently, AJ knew, so she wrote FHYP.
An AU about broke hearts, jealousy and new romances, FHYP offers everything a good romcom ever would. And though she has taken a break AJ’s ability to deliver so many chapters amazes and inspires me.
High Noon by @younghearts-stories
One of my biggest regrets so far has been how long it took for me to ever read High Noon.
A College AU, we follow a sceptical Rory as she tries to navigate her friendship with the walking knock-knock joke that is Harry Styles. This Gem is able to write in a way that seems both so familiar yet so new, creating a story that flows and catches my attention more and more with every chapter.
Cake For Breakfast by @fromherlips
The first fic I was every truly dedicated to, I’ll never forget Cake for Breakfast.
A story about Faking it until you make it, CFB follows the believable relationship of Vera Hart, and new love interest Liam Payne. Fran knows what to include to make her characters seem so real all you want to do is have coffee with them. Thinking of this fic makes me miss her and her place on this site.
Lovefool by @nightingiall
A short series, written as part of the tropetastic challenge, Lovefool is what inspired me to step out of my comfort zone that was rom-coms and feel free to write more creatively.
A Spy AU, Lovefool follows badass Sameera as she tries to not only navigate her assigned mission but her ‘relationship’ with Niall Horan.
Jessica has an inspiring ability to write realistic fantasy, something that makes me want more more more!
