I am, in my heart of hearts, a hater, especially when upset. This blog will occasionally just turn into a hate page, especially at risk are Lewis, George and Kimi, just to be clear to start with. I can and will block you if i disagree with you. I'm very very very happy to block people.

That being said, I'm not here to hate for no reason, and anything absolutely nasty or spiteful has no place here on my blog and will be deleted.

i'm actually so tired of speaking with f1 fans who just don't have an opinion on Arvid. and i mean like i ask them, "what you think of Linblad?" and they literally just like shrug. they'll have opinions on anything and everything and everyone else, even on like Cadillac and Aston Martin despite the fact that those two teams aren't even like relevant this year, and yet when you ask them what they think of the sole rookie's performance this year, you get some variation of "i don't really care" or "i haven't paid attention to him" or "he's whatever".

'Whatever'? Linblad is giving us an INSANE F1 debut and people just think, 'whatever'? i'm going crazy are we even watching the same sport? literally every race he gives us a performance. he is consistent and calculated and talented and incredibly intelligent and humble and so fucking cool. if their opinion is 'i don't really care' and yet they've got something to say about like Hulkenberg or Gasly being underrated or about how the rookies did last year, all i can think is, 'ah, it's racism.' like you cannot claim to care about the sport if you are ignoring one of the best performances this year and a very solid indicator that we're watching a future world champion in the works. you cannot claim to care if you are not at least watching this guy. i am sorry i just don't want to fucking hear it.

the reason these regs went largely unchallenged by f1 media until now is because they went largely unchallenged by f1 fans and i genuinely have to look no further than the charles and oscar spa situation to point out that it’s because a lot of you are embarrassingly allergic to hard racing that f1 thought they could sell this artificial bullshit as entertaining in the first place. remember how at the beginning of the season a lot of people swore up and down that watching the ferraris whack each other for the epic highs and lows of p3 was the best racing they’ve EVER seen in formula 1 and they called it ethical wheel instead of stupid fucking battery powered back and forth oh and then people who never watched a singular lap of a 90s f1 race started coming out saying the sport's been boring for 40 years now actually and it's not until 2026 that overtaking was made possible and kimi antonelli who gets noted for track limits 7 minutes into an fp2 session and who had you clutching a rosary last year whenever he got near your driver because as my best friend charles leclerc pointed out so astutely he is BAD at wheel to wheel no he's actually the best qualifier and driver on the grid and max verstappen with his clearly superior red bull engine he's just washed i fear don't worry about it
