Inspired by @the-library-kat, I jazzed up my frozen cheese pizza with mini eggplant, mini bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes from the garden!! It's not going to win any beauty contests but sure tastes good!

Wow happy to report I got butter beans to try instead of cannellini beans and it was a huge success, they taste pretty similar but have a better texture and most importantly are much much funnier

I bought some produce at the farmers market and now I'm already like what if THESE somehow have the parasite so it's going to be that kind of brain day I guess. And I think I'll roast some of them with tofu for a little tofu bowl anyways so we'll be good.

My first mini eggplant was ready and I grabbed it and the hidden side of it was covered in chipmunk-sized claw marks 😑 he has also figured out he can climb and knock off cherry tomatoes. I curse him. The tomato loss is relatively minor so far at least but if he bites my ONE mini cantaloupe we are gonna have a problem.

But amazingly my lettuce has started growing again! I never pulled it when it bolted, just chopped it down, so that's fun.

Also I will say one of those influencers always gets sick on her trips and then continues to go to these big events and take the up close press photos with the celeb or whatever as she's actively sick and that also has me rethinking following!! How inconsiderate to everyone! Also god forbid you wear a mask on your flight over.

I randomly follow a few mostly harmless younger influencers and I have to say....lately it's harder to ignore how much they're flying around the world for events? Like one of them flies to Europe and stays there for as long as they're allowed to stay, so I guess that's a lot better, but the ones that fly to Japan or New York just for one sponsored event? Idk man, how much worse has our carbon consumption become as a society with influencers doing that? I know the big companies are more responsible for climate change than like...a 20 something year old in Australia but I am losing my taste for the content.

Dangerous news, the fun seed place Botanical Interests emailed to say they're doing free shipping with no minimum. Also I treated myself to some fun nature art books that I like as drawing inspiration but I'm always afraid I'll damage the library copies because they're paperbacks. And this weekend is a fun matcha pop-up. Spendy spendy!!!
