I was wondering how Ren would react if he had walked in on MC talking to one of their friends about a pretty goth e-boy they saw online and then showed a picture of Ren in his true goth glory
"I'm telling you, Vi, it was love at first sight when I saw that picture!"
Ren was already pissed after spotting you with that airy neighbour of yours peering over your shoulder to look at your phone, but your choice of words was what really set him off.
Love at first sight? With who? Not that it mattered; they were as good as dead once he finds out.
Casually strolling around the corner with his hands in his pockets, Ren feigns surprise as he sees you and Violet idly gossiping in the hallways.
"O-Oh, angel!" Completely ignoring the woman next to you, Ren immediately makes a beeline toward you, "I'm glad you're home! Y-You see, I was planning on stopping by to ask if you wanted to—"
"Ren, you have got to look at this!" His heart almost leaps out of his chest when you casually tug him closer by the end of his sleeve, before all the colour drains from his face as he glances down at the phone you shove into his trembling hands. Almost immediately, he recognises the familiar outfit – and the person wearing it.
"O-Oh… Uh-! That's… Um-!"
"Isn't he so pretty?" You're practically swooning at this point, and Ren wasn't sure whether he wanted to reach out and catch you, or let the ground cave in and swallow him whole. "I'm reeeally into the whole 'goth e-boy' style right now; it's so cool!"
"I suppose," Violet interjects, the look of concern pulling at her features as she rests a finger against her chin. "But doesn't his style look eerily similar to the guy that left your apartment last w–"
"Y-Yeah!" Cutting the white-haired florist off, Ren pushes his way in between the two of you to lean closer to your side. "It… It really is a cool style! But do you actually like it? I thought you preferred Haruko's style."
"I mean, Haruko's style is very cute, but this is hot!" Your carefree laughter echoes down the hallway, and a smile pulls at Ren's lips knowing that he was the one who caused it. "It's just a shame that the picture came out blurry… I really wanted to see his face. I'm sure he'd look just as pretty too!"
What were you doing to him? Ren was on the verge of passing out from your ignorant praise, and it took all his willpower not to reveal his big secret to you right now.
And so, with practised hands, The pink-haired man scratches at the side of his jaw — careful not to aggravate the empty holes of his snakebite piercing — and looks down at you with soft eyes.
"M-Maybe you'll see him again." The knowing smile on his face quirks into a reassuring one instead as he hands the phone back to you — purposefully making sure to brush his fingers against yours. A shiver runs up his spine at the contact, and he only hopes that you felt the same spark as him. "I mean, it looks like he was leaving that bakery... So… M-Maybe he's a regular?"
"Just when I thought he couldn't get more perfect." Your cheeks flush in embarrassment as you lean against your door, "I love going to that bakery as well."
I know. Ren wants to say; knowing fully well that he's got at least three of your empty croissant wrappers in his drawer at home, and 12 unused coupons collecting dust in his wallet. But instead, he simply nods his head and intently stares at you once more.
"You're really not going to consider the thought that this could be the same guy who broke into your apartment?" Almost forgetting that Violet was there, you shoot her an inquisitive look before acknowledging her words.
"Oh! You have a point… But—"
"—Hey, d'you wanna go to the pier again?" You weren't expecting Ren's (surprisingly) confident voice to interrupt, and you could only look up at him in intrigue as he continues to speak. "That's why I came here, but if you're busy…"
He finally acknowledges Violet with an irked glance before covering it with a fake smile.
"Nah, I was just about to head inside before I ran into Vi. But sure! We can go to the pier if you want. Just let me get my swimmers." You turn around to start unlocking your door before adding, "You wanna come along Violet?"
If looks could kill, Ren's enraged gaze would've assassinated Violet immediately. But as if she was feeling petty from the way Ren ignored her earlier; she glances at the pink-haired man with an equally mean look and flashes him a condescending smile.
"Sure! Just give me a second to put Albert away and find my bikini." The look on her face practically radiates victory as she pokes her tongue out at Ren and goes into her own apartment.
Well then.
Hopefully, you won't notice Ren trying to drown her the moment you turn your back away.

This week has been quite busy for me, but despite that, managed to make some small progress, so it wasn't all negative. These days, I've been focusing again on the voice search for the demo - I'm excited to confirm that we've finally found the voice for the 401 character!

This is news that fills me with excitement, as I move forward step by step and these significant achievements fill me with joy. All the effort I have invested so far has definitely paid off. I also want to confirm that the voice will be in Spanish. I wanted to find something authentic to include in the demo, and although the selection was a challenging process because so many people wanted to participate, I am immensely grateful to everyone who wanted to be part of this.

make sure florescent red learns how to dev properly before you join them. you’ve lost all my respect after teaming up with an indie studio whos known for plagiarism and using unedited codes from the internet. i’d rather wait years for you to finish you and him independently instead of support a studio who copy/paste codes without credit in order to push out their projects faster. im sorry hermy but this wasn’t the right move.
Its been explained MANY times as to why none of these accusations are true and were brought forward by people who simply wanted to tear the community apart. You're helping them do that by believing them and helping spread more false information and hatred. Since that's the case then I genuinely don't want you in my fandom.
Oooh I just thought of an interesting question! What would Rendacted do if the killer in town either tried to kill Angel or successfully did?
✦゜ANSWERED: This is leaning a bit towards major character death (which I don't write on this blog for my own preference + to avoid potential spoilers), but Ren is always watching you, so even if the killer got close enough to try something, he'd step in and interfere.
Also, who said there's only one killer in Corland Bay?? ^^
