this is . very difficult AH WHY WOULD U DO THIS TO ME ... before i answer that i wanna say that despite the fact that hermione gets angry at the twins very often and doesn't quite approve of their pranks and tricks, and just in general is usually annoyed by them she DOES think they are extremely intelligent <3 she appreciates their creativity and their ability to create their magical items because it's obvious that quite a lot of time and brainpower is used to make them !! they have ambition and she can respect that. anyways in regards to fave twin, we did get a bit more bickering w fred so out of spite she'd definitely say george, but she also considers george the more reasonable one ( i mean. as reasonable as he can get ), the one who has a bit more control over himself, which i think would put him over fred in her opinion.

i’ve always considered hermione to be extremely close with her parents and i don’t believe they ever forced her to be at the top of her classes, but when you think about them naming her hermione for the sake of sounding smart it sort of ?? makes me think? that there was maybe this unspoken sort of requirement for her when it came to academics. again i don’t think they forced it upon her because she would’ve eluded to that throughout the series, and her fear of failure and need to be at the top stems from her own wants + her insecurities of being a muggleborn, but there was always this underlying acknowledgment between the three of them that she was going to excel in her studies

also little thing that bothers me is in the gof movie hermione is sniffing and crying about moody using crucio on the spider for no apparent reason other than it being disturbing but in the book she’s ACTUALLY doing it because she saw the way that neville was affected by the sight ??
