It sickens me a lot with the people in EXO fandom and the people outside the fandom. Let me be honest, I am a fan of EXO, a fan that adore them so much but all these dramas that happened within the fandom, and outside the fandom, just sicken me.
We, keep telling people that we never give a fuck when other people bashed our fandom and we still ended up embarrassing our fandom even more to the fact people who didn't know about the 'award' found out about it. We keep telling people not to judge our fandom through stupid fans but still, there are people in this fandom that acted so stupid to the fact I questioned their brain's existence. We keep saying, 'know about our fandom first before judging us' but what is the use of other fandoms getting know about our fandom when we are so 'proud' about it?
"Siblings fight a lot too." A good friend of mine told me this when I commented on a fight between SM fandoms but siblings can't fight forever, don't they? It is so funny with the fact that our idols, might be playing around, hanging out together, talking on the phone, taking pictures, but their fans are fighting with each other and it's always on a small matter. I know we don't like people giving bad remarks about our idols like "Your idol can't sing.","Your idol can't dance." or "Your idol didn't work hard as much as my idol did."
I know it hurts you because people are talking about bad things about someone that you really cherish. However, look again at yourselves and the people who made that remark. Do they know about your idol as much as you do? People have different views about our idols (This applies to everyone) and they might see your idol who can't sing and you might see her/his idol as someone who can't dance. I thought you guys really like the saying, "Everyone is a snowflake, different and unique in their own ways."
There is no need to point out people's flaws. What if people go straight to you and said, "Hey, you are so stupid, ugly, fat, useless, just die would you?", what would you feel? It's just how it works when you guys posted those posts on the idols. The idols might not come across those posts but their fans will and they will be mad about it, causing another fan wars to spark. I know this post won't be able to take off all those stupid comments on every idols because not everyone would see this post and regret their wrong-doings.
What I am trying to point out here is that, stop fighting guys. Stop every action that you think would affect your fandom badly. This post is meant to open EXO fans who are taking actions without thinking but other fandoms should be reminded about this too.
I know people might read this and go on again, "Oh, another stupid rant." but I honestly hope that this post will open someone's eyes even if it's just a person. Thank you for reading. I am not really good with words but I hope you guys get it.
