âthatâs just what i needed to hear but yeah, makes sense. a little bit of both but mostly just tired, i guess.â
âthatâs understandable. iâm assuming not a lot of us are getting enough sleep. even iâm not getting enough sleep and iâm not super used to it. itâs..disconcerting, honestly.â
âcanât tell if iâm dying or if itâs the lack of sleep. probably both. is coffee lethal?â
âno, no, coffee isnât lethal. but youâre probably dying of lack of sleep. are you stressed or anxious?â
âI love the fact that they added Sharpay addressing the fact that she was named after a breed of dog in the script. It makes me wonder if thereâs some like â deeper feelings toward her parents or even her brother who got a fairly popular name,â she paused, her face wrinkling, âOr am I looking too much into things? Iâm probably looking too much into things.â
âNo, no, thatâs a valid point.â She reassured. Saya liked the movie series and had wondered the same thing. Sure, Sharpay wasnât the most common of names, but she wondered if Sharpayâs parents really thought ahead. It was a striking name for sure. âI donât know much about twins, but Iâm sure there could have been a time when she was questioning it. I would, to be honest.â

âThis might sound a bit of an unpopular opinion, but I donât really...understand why fireworks are necessary. I get that theyâre bright and loud, but those arenât necessarily good things.â She voiced out. Itâs not that Saya was scared of fireworks, but they did make her worry. The things were flammable, and she never liked being too close to them. She could barely find the guts to hold a sparkler. âDid that sound too glum? I hope I didnât.â

Austin: Is anyone else here walking around camp in circles with Wizards Unite open on their phones to open their Portkey Portmanteaus whenever they do anything now, or is that just me?
Rory: I'd been hearing so much good things about it, but I haven't taken the plunge yet. Is it as good as they say?
start â @tobiaslangdon playlist: 2005 bops | âyou got a new horizon, it's ephemeral styleâ
âso, tobias, is it?â she approached him, hoping that the name she had used was right, going off of her conversation with delta back at the bonfire. despite the many hours theyâve put in so far, rory hadnât had thought of approaching any of her co-stars for..anything. anything outside of the realm of their musical, that is. it didnât help that her social skills werenât quite up to speed as her peersâ. âwere you thinking of going to karaoke night? i figured asking a co-star could be easier than attempting to ask a stranger.âÂ
start â @adairgebrael playlist:Â Â double happiness | âall you gifted people watching people watching secret camerasâ
âi really thought iâd still be sulking over not getting the role, but as it turns out: orion is a great carrie and i am not upset at all.â rory admitted to the other, her water on one hand. she had gotten used to the routine of theatre work and was able to adapt faster than she thought. âyou know, the..the pit in my stomach is long gone and all iâm able to focus on is just..the show. itâs..itâs good.â
start â @bella-walker-white playlist: soft pop hits / âgive me one good reason why i should never make a changeâÂ
âaccording. ah-cording. accord-according.â rory sighed then shook her head. there was high chance she was overthinking it and then some, but the feeling of perfecting every second she has on stage had already begun to overtake her usual calm demeanor. clutching her sheet music, she strode to the other side of the room to tap her co-star on the shoulders. âhi, are you available for a quick session to give me a little feedback? i admit iâm a bit in my head as they say at the moment.â she admitted, a sheepish smile present on her face.
oriondarrowâ:
âyeah, yeah. i am,â she replies, a sheepish smile coming on her face. âiâm uh, playing carrie.â it was weird to say out loud because that meant it was actually real. âi guess weâll be seeing a lot of each other then!â she says. ââor hating each other, i guess,â orion attempts at a joke, a small chuckle coming from her lips.
she paused. there she was, face to face with the one she lost her preferred role to. what was the protocol for this type of situation again? at the otherâs obvious attempt at a joke, rory gave a small laugh. âyes, we will. iâm..iâm excited.â she knew there was no point to being upset. at the very least, the actress for carrie was someone that seemed approachable. maybe even professional. rory appreciated those types. she raised a chip, no matter how corny it looked, and spoke. âa toast for getting great roles in a great musical.â she proposed.
victor-the-grouchâ:
âYeah?â Victor asked. It wasnât any worse than what heâd smell at a bar. When he actually had people to go with, that is. But the smell (and taste) of alcohol didnât particularly bother him.
âWell, donât blame me. Blame the smartass who thought spiking the punch at the bonfire was a good idea.â Right. Not supposed to call people a smartass in front of the campers.
She nodded, agreeing with the older manâs statement. She was never one to really break any rules. Some might even call her a âgoody goodyâ; an insult she never took to heart just because she was firm in her reasons for being so.Â
âI suppose theyâll get in a lot of trouble? Which could be bad if it was a camper who were celebrating getting a role they had auditioned for.â
tyler-thomas-ddsâ:
Tylerâs cheeks heated up a bit at the compliment, chuckling nervously before saying âThanks, itâs uh⊠itâs my one good move.â He then looked up, trying to remember. âI think it took like six months of trying? But on and off, like some days I tried for hours and other days not at all. Oh, and push ups. Had to do a lot of pushups.â He chuckled before nodding in her direction. âOkay, your turn to show off.â
âSix months..â She repeated, still impressed. Rory waved a hand around, shaking her head. âOh. No, no, itâs..itâs definitely not as impressive as that. In fact, itâs..how do they say it? Basic, I guess? And I donât do a lot of hip hop dancing, so..yeah.â She admitted.
mark-markingâ:
âOh thatâs definitely a good thing,â he agreed with a nod. âBut you can at least act like it. My biggest acting role was Billy Elliot, and I was basically playing a British version of myself.â He then said âOh, by the way, loved your audition piece for HSM. Bye Bye Birdie is such a staple in musical theatre, I always love hearing people use it for auditions.â
âI would not mind playing a British version of myself. Though Iâd have to work on my accent for that one.â She blushed slightly. âOh, thank you. I was in a production of Bye Bye Birdie and if weâre being honest, it was my first brush with said play. I fell in love with the music immediately. I can see why people flock to it. Instant classic.â
deltavaughnâ:
âHeâs a laugh and a half,â Delta rolled her eyes. âWeâre from the same county â Los Angeles, Iâm sure youâve heard of it,â she joked, âSo we ran into each other at the airport. Literally. I knocked his coffee over and legend says he hasnât stopped bitching about it to this day.â She wiggled her fingers spookily, using the bonfire setting as atmosphere for this faux spooky story.Â
She daintily hid her snort-laugh behind her hand, her thin gold bangles jingling along. âWell, thatâs rather hilarious. Iâll make sure to watch out for that after the first read through.â Rory knitted her brows before turning to Delta. âSo, would you say that heâs not good to work with? Because that would be worrying, to say the least.â
