happy valentine's day, it's time for a MOM ROADTRIP!
I didn't end up doing as much as I wanted to with it, because alas. time makes fools of us all. fortunately they remain fabulous even if they're just piling into Dylla's van to go down the road and get Starbucks and, let's be real, talk about how much they love dressing up their kids in silly little froofy outfits. the froofier the better. life goals right there.

Bringing back an old gimmick I did from 2022—Valentwst!
It's something I came up with on a whim so anyone is free to do this short prompt list in any order they like for the entire duration of February. All I ask is you tag your works with #Valentwst2026 if you're using it!

The Queen of Hearts the is highest position, normally given to the current Dorm head.
The King of Hearts is the second highest position. While the King does not typically participate in court, their role is still very important as they keep the Queen sane and levelheaded. These titles and positions extend to Unbirthday parties and the like.
The King of Hearts position is given to a person close to the Queen, where in a time of crisis, they could ground the Queen. Most of the time this role goes to lovers or close friends.
Before he started dating Floyd, Riddle did not have a King of Hearts. Rather, instead of one person, Cater, Trey, and Adeuce would take over the role of calming him down.
Because of the absence of a King, most in the dorm do not know that position even exists.
Once they do start dating, Floyd becomes the King of Hearts. (Despite the fact that he rage-baits Riddle, Floyd is still a grounding force in his life, and surprisingly good at calming the redhead down). Only problem? He doesn’t know this. Floyd is still an Octavinelle student, the only thing he knows about the court is the things Riddle tells him.
Riddle forgot to tell Floyd, and was running off the narrative that Floyd knew of this already and just didn’t care (which hurt his feelings a bit because he was very excited about them being King and Queen).
When Floyd finally found out he was so stoked, not only because he’s literally a king (only in the court of Heartslabyul but still), but bc that also means that him and Riddle are LEGALLY regarded as a couple!
Feel extremely free to ask me abt this concept, they are so very special to me. (I will also expand on the Heartslabyul court hierarchy if anyone wants me to)
