My heart will forever be wild. Oh hello, my name is Leef, I was a regular Chikorita before these blasted scientists caught me and decided to experiment on me. Now I'm a mix between a Meganium and a Chikorita, and I'm stuck in a dark, damp cell with other victims of Fuse Corps. (This is a sfw Rp/ask blog) (Will have a mix of drawn (usually sketchy) and text posts)
Elly’s ears perked up as she noticed Leef’s return. “Leef!" she cried happily. “I was so worried about you…" her tone quieted once she saw Leef’s face. Something seemed a little…different…
Elly nodded once she was given the bag of food. “Thank you." she replied. As much as she didn’t want to stare, she couldn’t help but feel that Leef’s hiding something behind that leaf of hers. Without even opening the bag to see what’s in it, Elly leaned over to the side, hoping that she’ll get a peek of what’s behind Leef’s leaf.
Leef, seeing that the other pokemon was trying to get a glimpse of her face, only attempted to hide it further by leaning to the side. The leaning only caused her to tip over and fall the the ground clumsily. Her balance was already messed up from tiredness. As she accidentally flopped over, her leaf fell away from her face, revealing a long, burnt scratch on the left side of her face. Shaking her head to get rid of her dizziness, she realized that the Elly could clearly see her face now.
"Hehe, whoops, clumsy me!" Leef weakly chuckled, hoping to divert Elly's attention away from the scratch.
(I'm so sorry this took so long! I got really busy and didn't have time to check this blog! QwQ I feel really bad about making you wait so long!)
Elly watched as Leef left, waving slowly and trying not to feel too worried. She noticed Leef stumble a bit, but figured it was because she couldn’t see too well in the dark.
As time passed, Elly went from pacing back and forth, trying to nap and attempting to draw. ‘She said she would be right back.’ she said to herself. She looked out for her, hoping to see the chikonium come back with some food and a smile on her face; but all she saw was darkness and the neighboring cells. She gasped “What if the guards got her?!”. She checked out her cell again, feeling panicked. As much as she wanted to get out and look for her, this is where Leef expected Elly to be. If she left, and Leef came back and didn’t see her, that wouldn’t be too good. Plus, Elly doesn’t know the area too well. If she were to go out on her own, there’s a high chance that she will get lost. With that, Elly reluctantly sat there, hoping that noting bad happened to poor little Leef.
Slowly, Leef approached the dark cell. She held a small bag in her vines and was purposefully covering the left side of her face with her shriveled leaf.
"Hehe," Leef weakly giggled,"I'm sorry this took so long, I got-err- lost! Yeah, lost, this place is really big after all!" She quickly passed the bag to the other pokemon. Inside were little bits and pieces of random food.
"I hope you enjoy the food! It's not much, but I hope it'll do for now." Leef uncomfortably shuffled her legs, making sure to not make eye contact with with Elly.
Elly was hesitant about Leef leaving, but her insistence kept her from telling her not to go. Elly sighed deeply, and nodded as a sign of “go ahead”. Maybe she was worrying too much. Leef seems fine and she really knows what she’s doing. Maybe if she didn’t look so worn, she wouldn’t have worried so much.
“…J-just be careful, alright?” she said a bit disquietly.
Leef gave Elly her trademark grin. "Don't you worry! We'll get some food in your belly in no time!" With that said, Leef hurried off. Slightly stumbling with her steps. Another trip to the scientists' lobby would also help her health as well, even though the harsh, artificial lights weren't as healthy or energizing as sunlight, it was still nourishment for her, and Leef had been feeling awfully dizzy for sometime.
About a half an hour passed, and Leef still hadn't returned.
Leef shifted uncomfortably and gave Amber an awkward smile.
"Heh, trust me, I know," She replied. "It was nice catching up with you Amber, but I have to go pass the food around. Get well soon! Make sure to get lots of rest, and don't strain yourself!" Leef said, getting up from her spot. She wobbled a bit, but made sure to quickly straighten up before it was too noticeable.
Amber blinked at which the speed Leef returned with such an amount of food. It usually took her quite a while to gather that much usually, and it often was split between many Pokemon.
“Are you sure that’s a one pokemon ration…?” But with the other question she weakly shook her head.
“I was blind folded for most of the experiments they had, I didn’t see mch of anything…”
Leef's smiled faded slightly, disappointed that there was still no light source to be found.
"It's just a bit more that usual, but don't worry about it. You need more food to be able to recover faster. Plus, I just got back from gathering food before seeing you. The scientists were having some sort of birthday party, so they threw out a lot of food today. With my vines, it's quite easy to pick up food from the trash without being noticed," Leef replied while lightly stroking her leaf.
Amber gave a bit of a chuckle,
“No need to go to that extreme… I don’t mind getting old food that’s left over…”
She looked down on herself, and sighed. It was correct, she wasn’t in any shape to go scavenging in the air vents right now and not for a while at least, considering she felt like she would collapse by simply standing upright.
“I… Suppose I have no choice in the matter…” She licked her paw clean so that she wouldn’t bloody up Leef’s vine, she couldn’t risk passing on chemicals to her after all, and reached out to shake it.
Leef happily shook her paw, then quickly jogged away to fetch Amber the food. Leef came back, holding a couple of shriveled berries and half a sandwich in her withered leaf. She passed the food through the bars and set them next to Amber. Leef then sat down near the cell and waited for Amber to eat.
"Hope you enjoy! Sorry the berries are a little old, I found them in a paper bag in the scientists' lunchroom. I'm glad they are so wasteful of food, it definitely helps feed us." Leef said. She dejectedly looked at the food. Leef had very little energy left, but she did her best to look like her usual energetic self.
"By the way, when you were -erm- out, did you happen to see any sort of greenhouse or place where there's something similar to sunlight anywhere?" Leef asked hopefully.
to start off, i’m so sorry i was away for so long!! i haven’t finished a digital drawing in maybe a month now, and i’d lost my muse for pokemon agAIN
but i think it’s hesitantly coming back now, so please, everyone, REBLOG THIS POST AND ATTACH A REF OF EVERY ONE OF YOUR EXPERIMENTS ON HERE! EVERY ONE OF YOUR FUSE CORPS EXPERIMENTS! i saw that huge, beautiful picture going around, and thought it’d be a great way to apologize.
once again, im sorry for being away for so long, but i’m back now. and i am ready to draw some stuff!
Failed experiment: evolution didn’t happen and too adamant to train.
(Big wall of text below, owo The last 3 paragraphs that are not the scientists' bio are what changed)
Leef was a wild pokemon before being captured by a scientist of Fuse Corps. The scientists wanted to see if fusing the DNA of a Meganium into her would make her evolve early. Sadly, that experiment failed. The scientists then decided to train her to be more of a healer than a fighter, but since she was a wild pokemon, she wouldn’t listen no matter how much they hurt her, so they deemed her a failed experiment and threw her with the rest of the failed experiments.
Leef is strongly striding to be a free pokemon again. She is kind, friendly, and peppy to the other failed experiments, and indifferent to the successful ones. She absolutely despises all scientists and tends to act very hastily and hostile towards them, despite the fact she might be euthanized if violence actually occurs. She needs to have someone hold her back from hurting a scientist.
Leef often uses Aromatherapy and Leaf whistle to calm and slightly ease the pain/heal other experiments. When offered food, she will refuse because she feels as if she doesn’t deserve it and she uses photosynthesis to barely keep her going. She hasn't eaten in a very long time, so now she is not able to digest food properly and will only throw up when she eats. She is desperately trying to find a light source so she can photosynthesize to make up for her lack of food. Leef is very good friends with Amber and will sometimes help Amber with gathering food. (She also loves to be near Amber because of the light she omits). She will often be oblivious to things around her, and sometimes if provoked enough will snap into a tantrum. She is very determined to get herself and the other failed experiments free and often tells them stories of the wild.
Leef is one of the main food gatherers of cell room #2 because she knows vine whip, which allows her to grab food without being noticed easier and from farther away. She also tries her best to be a healer, but with limited resources, that is difficult for her. The burns on her leaf were caused when she was stealing food and a fire type guard caught her. She used her leaf to block the attack. Usually, the burns and holes would heal naturally, but due to lack of nutrition and sunlight, her body cannot heal the wounds. She doesn't know it, but her leaf is dying. If it continues to wither, it'll no longer be of use to her, causing her to lose to ability to photosynthesize and use the moves razor leaf and leaf whistle.
(She takes the appearance of a Chikorita because she was fused with Meganium DNA when she was already wild. She wasn't born/created in Fuse corps, she was captured.)

Scientist Bio: LEEF was a pokemon caught by a fellow scientist. We were in desperate need of a first evolution to test out our hypothesis of level early evolution with DNA of a pokemon’s final evolution. When we fused it with a Meganium’s DNA, it didn’t evolve, but instead got mixed characteristic’s from both species. We saw no problem with LEEF, so we decided to train it to be a healing pokemon to cut down on health bills. Strangely enough, with double the grass type in her, she was able to use photosynthesis with to provide the proper nutrients she needed to survive. Unfortunately, due to her wild, hostile, and adamant nature, she refused to do as told no matter what, so we deemed her failed. We believe that she is surviving off photosynthesis, but have no idea where she’s getting a water or light source. On occasion when we see her, she is very hostile towards us. If she does prove to be a threat, we will have to euthanize her.
((Aaaand here’s that big surprise! Sorry it took so long to update again, stuff happened! Stupid stuff. Ah well, as an apology I drew everyone, and I mean everyone in Fuse Corps!))
She sighed a bit, “I’m not quite sure what Aromatherapy will do though… It may be helpful for Status ailments, I don’t think it will work against chemicals inside of me…” She lingered a bit on the thought of food. It /did/ sound rather nice at the moment, she was starving.
Leef smiled. "Ok! I'll make sure to get you the freshest food we have. Just promise me one thing. Promise me that you'll take it easy for a while. You're too sick to be going in the vents right now, we can't risk you getting caught. Don't worry about gathering food, ok? Everyone was able to get enough food while you were gone, so you don't have to jump right back in. Just let us take care of you for a change Amber, you deserve a good rest."
Leef extended a vine towards Amber, expecting a shake to seal the promise.
[Amber]: Some newcomers? Seems like I’ve missed a bit while I was away I’ll have to catch up… And thank you for the offer, but I don’t know if you can do much, it’s mainly the after effect of all the stuff pumped into my body nothing too physical… Though you may be right, rest would probably be good.
Leef frowned. "There's no way I'm going to leave you in this condition without doing anything. Please Amber, let me use aromatherapy to at least clear your system of the chemicals a little. I can also get you some food, you look like you really need it. After that, I'll leave you to rest, ok?"
Leef put on her stubborn face. She was not going to take no for an answer.
Elly tilted her head and looked at the pokemon with concern. As much as she would have loved to eat solid food right now, she couldn’t help but feel worried for Leef. The burns on her leaf seem to be permanent. If the guards were to find her and attack her more, she’d feel guilty; she’d feel like it’s her fault for letting her go out there to find food for her…
Elly lifted her head. She wanted to say something along the lines of “Don’t worry about it, I’ll be fine. I don’t want you to get hurt.” but all she did was sit there and smile nervously. She wanted the food, but she didn’t want to risk Leef getting hurt again.
“U-uh…a-are you sure?” she stuttered. “I don’t want the guards to damage you even more…”
Leef smiled, "Of course it'll be fine. I do it all the time! I don't think the guards could really do more damage to me than they already have. Plus, I'm sneaky! I just use my vines to quickly grab the scientists' food and I'm out of there like lightning. Besides, if any guards do give me trouble, I can just use leaf whistle to knock them out."
Leef was about to say another thing, but quickly shut her mouth. She was going to mention that if the guards really wanted to stop her, they'd just kill her.
"I promise to be right back! It won't take long, plus, the guards are busy with something else right now."
