"but as far as your fatui acquaintances go, I was the first... wouldn't you say?" ⚔︎
you can't help but grin, reading that line from ajax's recent letter to you. how cute, the harbinger was— feeling a bit jealous of the thought of you with his co-workers which he despised so much.
maybe you should pay him a visit. go for a few rounds of sparring while you're at it too. since he's asked so nicely.
which lead you to this.
"haven't seen you in a while, comrade!"
"it's great to see you too, ajax." you beam up at him, six-foot-something towering over you. "i hope you've been well? i'm sorry you keep getting swept up with all the fatui problems. i told you to give me a call when something goes wrong." he says, worriedly, and you chuckle at that. "you know i can handle myself, ajax." you reply, crossing your arms.
ajax raises an eyebrow before giving you his hearty laugh that made butterflies flap in your stomach. "yeah?" he smirks, cocking his head like he was testing you.
"well, we'll see about that."
it started off friendly. fun matches with your sword and his hydro blade here and there, taking a break by the river and doing some spontaneous fishing. at one point, he even cooked some fish for you, and it looked like a 5-star meal.
"when i went ice-fishing with my dad when i was young, he'd always have this method to make cooking fish as big as this way easier," ajax spoke, bending down to fix the cookfire he set up amazingly, in the span of 5 minutes.
you hum, finding his words interesting. or rather, him.
you were ogling him. subconsciously, to say the least. you bit your lip, eyes staring at him while he seasoned the fish with ease. his blue eyes, which rarely showed true emotion, looked so glamorous under the light flames. it shone as if spending time like this with you meant the world to him. maybe it did? or you're just delusional. who knows...
sitting down on the log he gracefully set up for your comfort, a soft huff left your lips, catching his attention.
"what's wrong, partner? you feeling okay?" he softly speaks, and you feel naked all of a sudden. smiling, you nod, "i'm fine."
"it's just that..." you sigh, "i feel you've done so much for me today, despite it being your birthday." you gaze at him, a bit bashful that you're actually admitting your childish thoughts to a man as charming as he.
ajax cackles at that, a bit too loud for your liking. you feel yourself turning pink at his reaction. "how mean..." you mutter under your breath, patting your heated face with the back of your hands in embarrassment.
he wipes a tear of joy off his eye, taking a deep breath to calm down. "come on, don't be like that. it's cute." he makes his way over, sitting down beside you.
you avoid his gaze, an attempt to save yourself from further humiliation. but you hear him speak, "well, if you feel that bad about it..." he starts, and his words make you curious. "you could make it up to me in some other way?"
you were riveted by him— much to your demise, and your eyes land on him once more.
"spar with me again. no weapons," he grins. you raise an eyebrow. you just did like... 6 or 7 rounds with him. but who are you to question?
"like a fist fight?" you tilt your head. and he ponders, "i guess you could say that," he responds, his smile mischievous.
the two of you now stand across each other on the field, fists out and knees bent in a stance. "i'm not going easy on you for this one, comrade!" he exclaims. "when have you ever gone easy on me?" you roll your eyes.
ajax scoffs in amusement before catching you off guard with how fast he was. you barely dodge his punch, your head instinctively ducking down whenever he'd try to go for your head. "not the face, dummy!" you yell, groaning when you hear his boisterous laugh.
you can't even get one hit in! too focused on dodging whatever he's been giving you for the past minute.
just then, you yelp when you're swept off your feet by his kick, falling to the ground. but you bring him down with you, pulling him hard by his sleeve.
this was an unfortunate position.
"i win." he huffs, right on top of you, his face hovering above yours.
gulping, you nod, eyes following him as he stands up with a soft sigh.
"one more," he declares, getting into his fighting position.
you internally sigh, already feeling sore with how much you've fought with ajax today. nevertheless, you mirror his stance, deciding to lock in and get competitive as well.
this time, you throw a punch first. but his head dodges to the left, his hands catching your fist. meeting his eyes, you see a smile creep on his lips. his free hand lands on your waist, pulling you flush against him.
your brain takes a few moments to process what was happening. why isn't he beating you up like usual? (don't be like sour, it's all friendly!)
but your mind goes blank the moment he pulls you by the arm again to press your lips against his.
seriously, isn't he supposed to be punching you in the guts?
"mmph!—"
well, no. because ajax was kissing you instead.
you're unable to resist, deciding not to struggle but let yourself kiss him back. your arm goes weak against his hold, and it moves to rest on his shoulder. his hand cradles your jaw, his touch softer than usual. like you were fragile.
pulling away, your eyes meet his, and you could swear you see the light in his eyes. "w-what was that for?" you whisper, and it takes him a few breaths to reply.
"you told me you'd make it up for me."
speechless, you simply stare at him with wide eyes.
"mind doing me one more favor, for my birthday?" he then asks, leaning down a bit closer.
nodding, almost immediate— you suddenly feel obligated to give him whatever he wants.
"let me take you home tonight. we can bring the fish. i'll take care of you." playful, the way he says it, and you can't help but softly giggle.
his hands move down to hold yours, and you look into his eyes, admiring the way the wind blows through his ginger hair. "i don't mind. you can come over whenever from now on." you reply.
"i'll hold you to that then." ajax grins.
this was definitely tartaglia's favorite celebration so far.

a/n: OH AJAX... (*/ω\*) happy belated birthday to my king since 2020! he literally shares a birthday w oikawa, and i've been celebrating july 20th like a national holiday since 2021 lmfao
i was lowk on a writers block until i saw this comment under a post abt childe's bd letter HAHAHAH so it #inspired me to lock in and write for him since i did one for oikawa.
godbless u lia whoever u are??? + the baddie who posted the letter LOL
anyways! if you enjoyed this fic please do consider reblogging n giving me a follow on my blog! it would mean the world to me! <3 thank you so much for reading everyone!
your sweet voice flutters oikawa tooru's heart, and his gaze is set on you and the cutely decorated box you've held out for him.
he blushes, but it's followed by his signature smirk. "wow, i didn't expect this from you!" he beams, taking a few steps towards you to take the gift.
"well, i didn't want to compete with your fangirls, but i had a gut feeling you were waiting for me." you smile, putting your hands on your hips as tooru receives your present.
tooru huffs, giving you a quick glance before looking at the box. a shoebox, to be specific, covered in white and designed with blue hearts. like opening a treasure box, he does it with anticipation, adrenaline from hidden excitement running through his body.
treasure it was.
"asics gel-rocket 11. matches your jersey too." you say, rocking back and forth as you feel a bit flustered now he's opened it.
furthermore, the gift had some nike socks, skincare products, plus the cutest volleyball jellycat he's ever seen. not to mention, the lid of the shoebox is adorned with photos of the two of you, with a beautifully written "happy birthday, oikawa! 07-20-2012 ❤︎"
tooru's heart almost stops, and he's shocked by how well thought out this gift of yours was. it wasn't like those confession letters, or chocolates that could fill up the whole volleyball club room. these were gifts that only someone close to tooru would figure out.
and that someone was you, clearly. god, he's suddenly feeling emotional.
"ha!" he exclaims, turning around to avoid showing you his expression. you tilt your head, confused by his reaction.
then, you hear him wailing. "dude, are you crying?!" you snicker, moving to take a good look at his face. wow, he really is!
"tooru..." you stifle back a laugh, taking the gift box from his hands and settling it down on the floor for the meantime, before you pull him in for a hug.
oikawa tooru hugs you back almost immediately, his face buried in your neck to hide his embarrassment. "seriously, you've just turned 18, and you're still a crybaby?" you tease, patting his back comfortingly.
he lifts his head, and you could clearly see his tears and runny nose. how stupid.
"i'm just— so happy," he hiccups, and you smile. "i'm happy you're happy then." giggling, you wipe his tears away with your thumbs.
tooru sniffles, "ah, this is so embarrassing," he wipes his face with the back of his hand now, before looking at you with his wide grin.
"you're cute, it's fine." you reassure him, rubbing his arm as you look up at him. "and it's your birthday, so you can do whatever you want. cry as much as you want."
oikawa kneels down now, taking the gift again with an amused huff. "asics, huh... how'd you get my shoe size anyways?" he marveled.
"i have my ways, don't worry about it." "how suspicious," he replies.
laughing, you sauntered beside him, taking out the jellycat plushie, "anyways, isn't he cute?" you waggle the soft volleyball, making tooru scoff, "yeah, but i'm cuter, remember?"
"yeah, sure you are bud."

RE. REQUEST FOR MY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLFRIEND TO UNBLOCK ME ON ALL PLATFORMS
Good day, sweets!
This is Gojo Satoru, a.k.a. the guy who accidentally messed up with you AGAIN! (≧▽≦) Baby I know it's not funny im sorry for joking... I just miss u alot!
I already told u ure NOT a bet! its that bum naoya's fault he was just going on abt how "strong alpha males" like me shouldnt stoop down back to their exes. and I do NOT believe a word that jackass says, I promise.
i know u set boundaries, i was so happy we were friends. im really sorry for messing it all up, i really am. please message me again. its midterms and i cant empower the nerd in me bcoz im always thinkin bout u.
with so much love for u ft. regret for being an ass,
Gojo Satoru ૮(◞ ‸ ◟ )ა
"this dickhead," you mutter under your breath after reading satoru's nth attempt to contact you again. through email, nonetheless.
clicking out of his email, you scroll through your way more important ones. responding to professors, groupmates, and some job opportunities along the way.
but you can't help but click back onto satoru's.
you re-read it again, taking in every stupid word that he typed. and your heart slightly aches while thinking about his expression or thoughts during the past week after the incident in your dorm.
wait— why should you care again? snap out of it, bitch.
but as if your inner conscience could perform mitosis and fight each other, your mind drifts off to that afternoon where he came over, right after getting the call from utahime. after giving him his rightfully deserved slap, he snaps! the audacity.
"hey! what was that for?!" he says loudly, rubbing his reddened cheek with teary eyes. what a wimp.
"for fucking playing me, that's what!" you exclaim back, winding your palm for a second round. satoru covers his face in defense, feeling as dumb as ever, "i- i don't know what you're talking about..." he says in his pouty tone, giving his eyes access to look at you in between his fingers.
"someone tells me you placed a bet on me, satoru." you cross your arms, raising an eyebrow at him. "and you really have the guts to show up here? after doing that bullshit?" you seethe pulling one of his hands down by his wrist.
he looks at you with a deep yet cute frown, and that's when you notice his glasses. oh fuck, he looks 2 years younger all of a sudden. your heart can't help but flutter.
you maintain your composure, however, "care to explain?" you cock your head, chasing his eyes, "not that i'll believe it though."
satoru scratches the back of his head, trying to process everything you've accused him of. he does recall making some remarks about you the night he saw you again, maybe even laughing about it with his frat brothers. but it was all blurry to satoru.
you take this silence differently, however. seeing it as a sign of his guilt that yes, he did play you, and yes, this wasn't your satoru anymore. it makes your tongue have a bitter taste; you feel as if you're taken back to the day you found out gojo satoru blocked you. "don't even bother contacting me again, have a taste of your own medicine, asshole." you speak— but your tone wasn't the harsh, angry kind anymore— no, you sounded so hurt. you thought things would go back to the way it was before college, when you agreed to be friends with satoru again, but it turns out you were completely wrong.
shutting the door in his face, satoru attempts to reach out for you again, but to no avail. he doesn't knock again, but it took him an exact time of 6 hours and 7 minutes before he messaged you.
blocked.
instagram, maybe?
blocked.
maybe you use twitter? he deep searches and finds you.
blocked.
fucking facebook...
blocked.
through the portal of your school website?
he's fucking blocked on there too. so much for sister campuses.
now he's on your email, not to mention, your school email too after you blocked him on his regular yahoo.
as much as you're entertained by him, you give yourself a pep talk to not fall for it again. he's wooing you into a black hole of frat stupidity.
just then, your lecture ends, but you're too immersed in your thoughts and regrets about your ex to notice. your finger taps mindlessly on the base panel of your laptop, zoning out like a total idiot. but you're snapped out of your thoughts when your project partner and good friend nanami kento pats your shoulder. "hey, you shouldn't stay here overtime, it's not good for you." he speaks, and you look up at him, blinking to process what was going on.
"oh! it's 4pm already?" you mutter under your breath, checking the time on your phone. you hear nanami sigh, to which you immediately pack up your laptop, shoving it in its sleeve. "sorry, were you waiting for me?" you stand up now, giving him a small smile.
"we scheduled to go to the library together at 4:15. i need to be back at my dorm by 6," he sternly speaks, looking at his own watch as well. "you're punctual as ever, nanami," you say, slipping out of your seat to walk alongside your friend.
but little did you know, satoru's email had a second reply.
my 129 iq brain's about to explode with overthinking. my liver's about to be sold with how much i'm drinking! you know i hate alcohol (even as a frat member!)
also i asked ur classmate ijichi for ur sched. wait. you might get weirded out, im sorry. please don't scream at me when you see me. ☆(#××)
love, toru Σ(°△°|||)
it takes a good 5 minutes to get to the library, most of it filled with awkward silence or asking nanami questions that are answered with one phrase. but you digress, seeing the positive in your friend, to whom you feel doesn't consider you a friend. whatever.
sitting down at a spot you mutually agree on, you bring out your laptop while nanami stands up to get some research materials. he clears his throat, "i'm going to go to the second floor, the socio-economic books are there." he says, taking some stuff out his bag. "anything you need?" he asks, and you reply, "the communist manifesto... and—" but before you could finish your sentence, you choke on your own saliva at the sight behind nanami.
what the fuck was gojo doing here?!
your body moves before you could think, and you pull nanami to your side, effectively blocking satoru from seeing you. nanami stiffens, clearly uncomfortable. "my ex-boyfriend is there!" you exclaim, looking up at your friend with an expression that just screams 'i'm an idiot' while he's looking down at you with the scariest rbf you've seen.
"you mean gojo?" he sighs, crossing his arms to look at the white-haired figure dashing his way towards the two of you.
"h-he's right behind me, isn't he?" you squeak, ducking your head down as you clutch onto nanami's folded arms.
nanami steps back, and you cover your face, trying to save yourself from embarrassment. "nanamin!" you hear satoru from behind you, "gojo," nanami greets back. "can i talk to your friend here? just for a bit." your ex says, shoving his hands into his pockets.
nanami looks down at you, observing your state— and you knew you were cooked. what the hell were you going to talk about with satoru? you clearly set your stance against him, but you weren't in the mood to cause a scene.
"...she seems uncomfortable, sorry. i don't think you can." an angel. you were in the presence of an angel with the name nanami kento.
you gawked at nanami with sparkling eyes, a huge 'thank you'. he takes a deep breath, lifting his eyes up to satoru who appeared dejected.
"seriously?" satoru says, but not rudely— he says it so softly in disappointment. he tries to lean forward, to catch your eyes, but you're quick to turn around. avoidant final boss.
this was really awkward.
but satoru shoots nanami the sweetest 'please' expression too— dropping as low as you to have his friend be the mediator. unbelievable.
nanami sighs, scratching the back of his head as annoyance starts to bubble in. "you two have the communication issues of the average novel couple." he mutters, and you close your eyes, biting your lip as your ears turned red. this was so embarrassing!
"come on, won't you talk to me? i came all the way." satoru intervenes, his voice whiny, as per usual when he's begging.
nanami pinches his nose bridge, and you fold under pressure, "ah, fine! just shut up already." you stand up, scratching the back of your head with an exasperated sigh. "i'm really sorry, nanami." you then apologize, getting satoru's wrist and moving out of the library.
you drag your ex into the courtyard, all eyes on that handsome fratboy who towered over you like crazy. settling under a secluded tree— looking awfully suspicious, but you're not one to care at the moment.
putting your hands on your hips, you size him up, looking at him up and down. damn that digimon shirt that pressed against his pecs. and those stupid low rise jeans that had his calvin klein peeking out slightly. "you just really like pissing me off, don't you?" your eye twitches, shifting to cross your arms.
"i haven't even said anything yet!" he exclaims back, correcting you like the total nerd he was. "well your presence does enough," a retort from you, and you roll your eyes.
satoru huffs loudly, "i just wanted to talk to you! it was all a misunderstanding, the bet. i just want you to hear me out," he pleads, and it's like a repeat of his speech from last month when he saw you back at the frat house.
"your excuses mean nothing, i'm serious. i've moved on, i don't care, so i suggest you do the same."
"look—" he speaks despite your protest, "i wasn't the one who made the bet. i was being laughed at by my brothers, a-and they wanted to see if i could bag you—"
"bag me?" you raise an eyebrow, and he gulps, "i mean... get you back." he explains, rubbing his head nervously. "but i fought them, i told them i..." he trails off, before looking into your eyes.
"you?" you look back into his, though you're still not convinced.
"i would be yours again. like before." he softly speaks, cracking his knuckles in an anxious manner. he glances up at you awkwardly, feeling flustered.
your tense expression slightly drops, and you do feel a bit bad. "iori told me the bet was that if you failed get back with me, your fraternity brothers would compete for me instead." you softly spoke, recalling your debrief with utahime.
"that was their bet, naoya's to be specific." he says in his defence, stepping forward. "didn't you read my email?" he pouts. "unfortunately, i did." and you sigh.
"i swear i didn't give in, i didn't even listen. i spend less of my time with them and more on studying to get my gpa back up. i know how much academics mean to you." he bashfully speaks, taking a deep breath.
"no cap?" you pout, and he nods, "scouts honor." he places a hand on his chest. you cringe a little, suppressing a smile.
satoru continues to speak, though, his guilt consuming him in more ways than one. "and i know i've changed a lot since high school. i'm not buried in books half of the time or constantly joining chess tournaments like before. and i love my life now... it's fun, full of new experiences, and i get to meet new people—"
"like girls?" you tease, and he laughs, "that's not the point..."
you continue to listen intently, "but i want you to know that your satoru still lives inside of me. i never forgot you and i never will. you were the biggest part of my high school, and even though i'm different now i still want you to be by my side." he ends with a shaky exhale, eyes never leaving yours.
you gaze at satoru, your heart beating in a unique rhythm that only he could make it do. god, he truly wasn't that nerd you loved so much— but this new him was still worth loving either way.
you then speak, "that really means a lot, satoru." and you uncross your arms. "honestly, i've been scared that you'd treat me differently from the moment i saw you at that party. so all i'm asking is for you not to break my heart again, really." you explain.
"i promise, i really do." satoru's azure eyes glow, uncanny but cute.
"then... you're forgiven," you mumble, and you turn to the side awkwardly. his smile is immediate. "aww, sweets!" he exclaims, arms wide open but you're quick to step away.
"don't even try," you huff, "i'm just really happy, sorry." satoru sheepishly mumbles, and you glance at him— almost pitifully. "fine, but don't think anything of it, satoru." you step closer, and he beams, wrapping his arms around you.
lifting your hands slowly, you place them on his back, taking a deep breath as you feel him. "i'm sorry too, if i assumed wrong." you say, and he chuckles, pulling back. "no need to apologize, it was really all my fault." he replies and you shrug, hugging him again. "i take it back then."
satoru laughs, and a few moments of silence pass.
"can i take my econ partner back?" you hear a voice from behind satoru, and you two jump.
"nanamin!" satoru whines, stomping his feet. the blonde simply rolls his eyes. "i don't want to work overtime because of your lover's quarrel."
you scoff, "he is not my boyfriend!" clenching your fists. satoru mouthes to nanami, "not yet at least," and you glare, while satoru shrugs.
"i'm going back to the library with him," you now announce. "i'm coming with," satoru says in a sing-song tone. you scoff, but satoru retorts— "i took a 2 hour train all the way here!"
nanami frowns and checks his watch habitually before looking at satoru, "the amount of free time you have never ceases to amaze me."
satoru ignores his sarcasm, putting an arm around your shoulder and nanami's. "you know, you two should totally come to my frat for a party, it'll be fun."
"no," "i'm tired of those things,"

nerd!gojo turned frat!gojo encounters his high school sweetheart at his party 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
gojo satoru was the golden boy of jujutsu university.
president of the biggest frat on campus, the most gorgeous face and blue orbs you could set your eye on, packing muscles, and a height that just matches perfectly. plus, his parties were the best.
everyone wanted satoru, to say the least.
people like to call him a "playboy", or a "heavyweight", and he loves to drown his ego in those compliments and rumors.
cause in contrast to gojo satoru in high school, his reputation was way better than he could ever expect.
almost half his face covered in his thick glasses, constantly wearing the same hoodies and sweaters, hair unkempt and messy, nose buried in books half of the time— it was a total 360!
but, there was one thing satoru missed the most from his high school days... and that was you.
the only girl he kept longer than 6 months. hell, you two even lasted three years, sophomore till senior. you were his first love, first girlfriend, first kiss, first fuck, first everything. god, if only you didn't pick a college so far away.
but satoru thinks it's for the best. if you were still with him, he would know he'd still stay as that nerdy boy that everyone hated. so, he does his best to forget about you. who needs a girlfriend when he can have fun without a label?
... is what he thought until he saw you again.
he hasn't felt lovestruck in a long while. everything went silent around him. everything was going in slow motion. lights probed around the house slowly, music low-pitched, laughter on reverb. and funnily, there was a spotlight on you.
heart eyes bore into you from across the room, but you haven't noticed yet. you were talking to your friend, utahime who studied at the sister school of your high school, who brought you here.
"oh, i totally forgot to tell you. remember gojo?" she asks, taking a sip from her red cup.
your heart drops slightly at the mention of him. you haven't heard of satoru since he blocked you unexpectedly. you heard about his 'glow up' but for your mental health, you couldn't be bothered to dig deeper into it. but you digress, forcing a smile. "yeah, of course i do. why would i forget?" you laugh, crossing your arms.
"he goes to jujutsu university too, right? same as you..." you awkwardly say, drinking the beer in your hand.
utahime nods, "yeah, he's the host of this party." she bluntly spoke. and before you knew it, you spat out your drink.
"girl, what the hell?!" utahime exclaims, stepping back. you wipe your mouth, eyes wide, "i am so sorry— i'm going to get tissues,"
but before you could act, someone stood right beside you, kitchen towels in hand. "you alright?" he talks directly to utahime, a flirty grin evident in his voice, and he rips some tissue to help her wipe her shirt.
if physically possible, your eyes widen even more. you find yourself speechless.
"i'm fine— and i don't need your help dude," she says, grabbing the tissues and wiping her shirt. utahime then sighs, "i'm going to the bathroom, excuse me." she clicks her tongue. "i'm so so sorry, iori," you mumble, "it's fine, i'm sure you were shocked..." your friend says before walking away, eyes darting between the two of you.
you force yourself to keep an eye on your friend, crossing your arms once more as you attempt to save yourself from humiliation. you needed to avoid this man at all costs.
gojo fucking satoru. nerd or not, you're not looking forward to seeing him.
but no, of course not. as talkative as satoru is (which hasn't changed since high school), he just had to say something!
clearing his throat, "well... long time no see." he speaks, voice unusually deep. gosh, is he trying to be cool?
you take a deep breath to compose yourself before you turn— and lo and behold, the 6'3 alien-looking dude is in front of you. "hey," you mutter, eyes darting left and right.
"what brings you here?" he asks awkwardly, and his demeanor suggests the nerd in him resurfaced after years. "utahime invited me," you answer quickly, suddenly finding that lamp beside the couch interesting, squinting your eyes.
"i see..." satoru mutters, and you finally look at him properly for the first time tonight. god, he looked so different yet as breathtaking as you remember.
no more fat glasses or bangs that framed his face perfectly— but replaced with a slicked back look with a cap worn backwards that looked like a cherry on top. gojo satoru always had muscles but never showed them to anyone but you. yet now, he's bigger, beefier, you might say— and he's flaunting it like a 5-course meal.
"you here for long?" he then asks, snapping you out of your thoughts and nonchalantly putting his hands in his pockets. you clear your throat, trying to find the words to say without exposing too much information. "i'm on vacation," you respond, looking down. satoru just bites his lip nervously.
a beat of awkward silence lingers in the air, seemingly both of you at a loss for words. but satoru speaks up: "hey... if ever you're free after all of this, would you consider going out—" however, he gets cut off by a bunch of girls screaming his name, asking for him to join them in the pool.
the white-haired man turns around, flashing them a wide smile. "i'll be right there gorgeous," and he waves.
but when he swerves to talk to you again, you were nowhere to be found. the fratboy sighs. "god, someone just fuck me in the ass already," he mutters to himself, scratching the back of his head before darting off to look for you.
you were already heading out of the house, regretting your decision to even come here in the first place. you should've flipped him off the moment he approached you and went home. that would've saved you from seeing that horrendous sight of your man flirting with some girls who can't even get a 2.5 gpa.
you briskly walk over to the sidewalk, taking a deep breath as the cool night air hit your drunk ass.
wait. but he isn't even your man? what right do you have to get jealous?
taking a few steps forward, your heels click against the pavement. until you abruptly stop, sighing loudly before screaming bloody murder in total embarrassment. you grip your bag, before crouching in humiliation, eyes shut as you force yourself to forget about everything that just happened.
what were you even thinking— why and how would you ever get the chance to get back with the new and improved gojo satoru?
he's the type of guy who plays beer pong and kisses people for fun during truth or dare games now. he's no longer that shy, anti-party, anti-alcohol, study-prioritizing nerd you've known since grade 8. he does billiards with a girl around his arm feeding him his drink— no, he doesn't play chess and beg you to watch his tournaments or go on a chess park date. you bet he doesn't even like digimon anymore! he probably sold all his limited edition cards and used the money for his fraternity's party funds.
but most of all, he's not yours anymore. and that really fucking stung.
messing up your hair with another scream, you find yourself wasted on countless "what ifs" that contradict "he blocked me first, it's not worth it" thoughts. you let out a low sob, tired and yearning to go home.
"i'm so stupid," you mutter to yourself, but you're met with a response. "no, i am." a deep voice rumbles from behind you.
your brain freezes for a second, before you're darting back up again, giving yourself whiplash as you face your one and only ex-boyfriend once again.
"did you freaking follow me out?" you exclaim, furrowing your eyebrows as you took a few steps away from him.
"y-yeah, but not in a creepy way— i just wanted to talk to you," he says, rubbing the bicep pressed tightly against his compression shirt nervously.
"i'm not interested." you say, straightforward. "not anymore," you then mumble, sighing under your breath as you look away from him.
"i'm not here to get you back," he softly speaks, "well, maybe, if you'd let me. but i was just really happy to see you again." he rocks himself on his heels, shoving his hands in his pockets again.
you hug yourself to go against that random coldness that swifts through you. maybe it's because of your adrenaline. "you've got tons of other girls lined up, just leave me alone." you scoff. "plus, you're the one who blocked me in the first place, didn't you?"
he pouts. cute, but no.
"i know that," he sighs, rubbing his nape, "and i'm sorry, okay? i fucked up a lot during our breakup period even though we could've stayed friends." he looks down, clearly guilty. but you won't buy it. you force yourself not to.
"at least you're self-aware." you mutter bitterly.
"look, i get it if you want to go— if you don't want to talk to me. i'm sure it's a shock to see me, especially like... this." your ex explains, adjusting his cap habitually.
"point is?" you raise an eyebrow.
he bites his lip apprehensively, hands on his hips as he gathered the courage to ask: "i want to make it up to you. maybe when you're feeling better too." he says, taking a few steps forward.
you freeze. you should seriously move. run a marathon for a cause— cause being getting away from gojo satoru.
"so... would it hurt so much to rekindle? be friends?" he asks, looking at you with those overbearing blue eyes, like his life depended on it.
friends? yeah, right. but you think about it.
"fine." you mutter.
yo. that's not how it was supposed to go?
but your heart is stubborn. and your heart won't let go of you stupid nerd turned fratboy ex. it's fucking stupid.
so there you have it. you're friends with gojo satoru again. unbelievable. three weeks in with talking to him again, you now find yourself laying on your bed, giggling at one of his corny ass jokes, staring at your phone as you waited for those three dots to become a message.
but while waiting for his response, your good friend utahime gives you a call. sitting up, you answer. "hello?"
her end starts with a loud sigh. "warning before i speak, just know i'll be blunt like last time. god, i hate men!" she exclaims, and you show concern.
"iori what happened?" you ask, and she replies. "you've been betted on, that's what happened!" your heart drops.
"i got the info from shoko, remember her? it's crazy! i swear that gojo guy is such an asshole thank god i went to a different campus during high school, he's the most disrespectful nuisance i've ever met—" utahime rambles, but you cut her off, staring blankly at the notification you got from satoru.
toru g: i'm gonna visit your dorm, surprise! ( ˙꒳˙ ) i'm otw,,, don't yell at me for coming unexpectedly pls. ♡♡♡
"hey... iori? i'll call you back, okay? tell me everything later." you say into the phone before ending the call.
just then, you hear your doorbell ring. just perfect.
you walk to the door in anger, steps heavy as you swing it open.
leon s. kennedy finds his way back home to you after visiting raccoon city again ⌖𖦏
trauma. it gnawed at leon whilst he walked through the r.p.d. with the goal of rescuing the abducted grace. after 28 years, he never imagined walking through that damned city again.
not only that, but he finds himself infected with a dormant strain of the t-virus. just his luck, i guess. he has a long story to tell you when he gets home. if he gets home that is.
but finally, the mission concludes. leon's saving grace— elpis gets him up and ready to finally get a good night's sleep with you by his side tonight.
after saying his goodbyes with grace, shipping elpis to those who needed it— leon slips on his wedding ring and walks straight home to you.
fumbling with the keys of your shared house, leon heavily sighs before finding the right one. he blinks, twisting the knob open, and stumbles into the living room. it's late, yet after his conversation on the phone with you, where he pleaded with you to go to sleep before he gets home, there's a part of him that knows you didn't listen, as disobedient as you always were.
shoving off all his equipment and whatnot onto the carpet of the living room (with not a care for your scolds next morning), he goes into your shared bedroom, a bit expectant to see you up and awake just for him— but he was... wrong?
his expression drops slightly at the sight of you spread out like a starfish on the bed, taking up even his side. he huffs in amusement, sitting on the edge of the bed and taking in your look. eyes shut tightly, eyebrows slightly furrowed, and your mouth slightly ajar. you looked... amusing, to say the least. looks like leon didn't have to worry about you lacking sleep for tonight.
so, he prompts for a shower.
the warm water eases his body almost immediately, and the old man couldn't help but groan softly. his injuries still stung, but he knows you'd tend to restitch and sanitize them when the time comes. leon's definitely looking forward to that. secretly delusional, as he is, he smiles when he imagines the look on your face when he moves even the tiniest bit while you're stitching. your face would be scrunched up in exasperation, voice pouty as you chide him.
"why are you smiling, mister?" your voice cuts him off, and he feels his heart drop stronger than the first time he saw a zombie.
leaning against the now-open glass shower door, you raise an eyebrow at him. "i waited up for you all night," you mutter, crossing your arms.
"yeah, sure you did, honey." he retorts, turning off the shower water. he reaches out for the towel, but you're quicker, handing it to him yourself.
"are you doubting my love for you?" you narrow your eyes, and he huffs as he covers his lower part. "not at all," leon waltzes out of the shower now, heading for the sink. you hum, following after him. you gaze at him through the mirror, "so? where'd your mission bring you this time?"
leon looks back at you, eyes evidently tired, before he lets out a low scoff, leaning down to wash his razor. "you'd never believe it," he murmurs. "well, i'm intrigued," you answer, standing beside him now.
"raccoon city,"
it takes a few moments for you to process before a slow smile of sympathy reaches your lips. "really?" you softly say now, watching as he puts shaving cream on his face. you tilt your head, catching his eyes. "how was it?" you ask, and he glances at you for a moment before going back in the mirror. "it was... interesting," he answers.
"i'm going to need more than that, leon," you sigh in contempt, grabbing the razor and deciding to take matters into your own hands. leon clicks his tongue, but with feigned annoyance. he lifts you onto the counter, and you bite back a smile as he stands in between your legs. "you're quite energetic. can't you wait until the morning?" he grumbles, but you don't listen, shutting him up by slowly shaving his jaw.
"i can't live on a cliffhanger," you murmur, now focused on your work. "you tell me you go back to raccoon city, then stop there. it's unfair,"
leon sighs, but you hold his face in place— so he looks directly at you, thinking about what to say.
but he's distracted, to say the least. a part of him yearns to forget all about that investigation with all the deaths, zombies, viruses, and scary stuff, and enjoy some time with you. plus, you looked breathtaking. if he said it out loud, you'd beg to differ— but when did leon ever care about the way you looked?
"stop dozing off. is this a sign of age?" you put the razor down, an annoyed expression now etched on your beauty, but it makes leon laugh. before he knew it, you were already done with shaving. "really? you're going non-verbal now?" you complain as he washes his face. but you pat it with a towel as soon as he finishes.
"i'm just thinking, gorgeous." he says, muffled through the towel as he leans his hands against the counter, effectively trapping you. the towel is long gone now, and it was just you and leon.
just the two of you, as always.
he leans down, a soft sigh leaving his lips before he looks back into your eyes. no more playful banter, or whines and complaints. you set your hands on his shoulders, "talk to me, honey. what went through your head?" you softly speak, rubbing his skin comfortingly.
leon ponders for a moment, before he speaks up. "i met this girl, she was kidnapped by an ex-t-virus researcher from umbrella." he gruffly speaks, and you listen intently, "and she reminded me of well... me. from all those years ago."
your expression turns solemn, "rookie leon, huh?" you try to keep it lighthearted, caressing his cheeks now. he huffs, "yeah, definitely him."
leon continues, "and she was so desperate to help, to undo the wrongs she blames herself for." he takes a deep breath, and you sigh, feeling all his pent-up emotions. "and it all went down in raccoon city, of all the places."
"oh leon," you shake your head, empathizing with him. "come here honey," opening your arms, you invite him for a warm hug. something you know he needed.
as leon always was, he leans right into your arms, inhaling your scent after days of being away from you. his chin's placed on your shoulder, arms around your waist.
this was the silence leon s. kennedy yearned for— the sweetness of an embrace that he knows is waiting for him, no matter what. an embrace that could easily leave this veteran d.s.o. agent's heart defenseless. 30 years of fighting b.o.w.s, to this was more than a reward. knowing there's a place to go home to felt just right in leon's soul.
"tell me more about it in bed, baby," you whisper, rubbing his back with a smile as you pull away slightly to look at his face. "i wanna hear everything about it." you add, pushing his damp hair back gently.
leon grins, giving you a chaste kiss on the lips. simple yet effective, it gets both your hearts to flutter even after all the years of being together. the agent then hauls you up, bringing you back to your shared bedroom.
safe to say— you were the one who totally captured leon kennedy's heart.

a/n: heyyy! if you've reached all the way to the end, thank you so so much for reading <3
i thought i'd make a little au where reader is leon's wife and he comes home to them after the events of re9! no ship wars— his fandom is canonically his wife :P
also, mid-writing i remembered that elpis literally healed leon as a whole (if i'm not mistaken) so him having injuries might not be canon(?) idk i didn't bother changing it cause i thought the scene in the shower was cute.
anyways, if you enjoyed this work of mine, please do consider giving me a follow or reblogging! it would be much much appreciated baddies :D thanks again!
your fiancée, gojo satoru, has broken a promise for the first time. 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
satoru was never one to let his favorite girl down. of course, you were the light of his life. the only one who kept him grounded. and he knew more than anyone that his being a sorcerer was a total nuisance for his social life— especially his love life.
so he made sure to keep you happy. to let everything fall in the palm of your hand. just one request, question, or statement— he'll take care of anything just for you. he never breaks his promises. hell, he even promised you that he'll never break promises. your pinky feels sore from the many times he's wrapped his around it.
like in that one summer in 2007, it was just the two of you in his hot, humid dorm when he promised he'd put a ring on your finger. specifically, he wanted one with a light-blue diamond that shimmered white in the sun. as if he was the one wearing it. but you grinned at the thought. it would be nice to settle down once the two of you reach the peak of your sorcerer career.
luckily, that promise came through. every day since 2017, you've been wearing a gorgeous 24-karat engagement ring with the very specific light-blue diamond that matched satoru's eyes. and as sweet and sentimental satoru always was with you, he gazes at it every night before bed, pressing kisses on your hand while listening to your enamoring giggles and complaints about going to bed already.
he also likes to twist the trinket around while holding hands with you. satoru loves knowing that it's there— not lost, not forgotten. it was a symbol that you were soon to be wed to him, and he always reminded himself of it.
another well-kept promise of his was to buy you that small house outside of tokyo, away from the city life, full of fields with the sight of both mountains and the sea. perfectly quiet, with the occasional festivals. despite his grievance of it being too far from work or not being big enough (he owns the gojo estate, after all), he still invested in your dream home.
you find yourself falling for him even more when you find that the inside is fully furnished, with even the plates matching the aesthetic of the home. it makes you laugh, making him sheepish. "i wanted to surprise you, baby... i still think the place isn't enough for our five future kids, though," he murmurs as he scratches the back of his neck. you shake your head, smiling as you pull him in for a hug, wrapping your arms around his shoulders as you thank him.
long story short, gojo satoru is perfect.
never fails to give you what's yours. never fails to crack a joke when you're down or support you when overwhelmed with your missions. never fails to give you a kiss when you struggle to ask for affection (but not without a bit of teasing). never fails to tell the whole world about how much he loves you, (the first years are tired).
but what you hold closest to your heart was that he never fails to keep his promises.
so naturally, you believed him.
"i'll win, i promise, honey. don't cry," he whispered against the top of your head, your face pressed against his chest as his arms wrapped around you, and vice versa. you lift your gaze to look at him, your breath hitching at the sight of his radiant, azure eyes. you blink away your tears, satoru wipes them away on instinct.
"stop being cocky," you huff, your lips formed into a frown, which satoru found cute. he gives you a soft smile. "come on, have a little faith in your soon-to-be-husband." he squeezes your cheeks twice, never hesitating to annoy you, even before his life-threatening battle.
"i do," you retort, but he's quick, "then let me fight, sweetie." he says. you sniffle, "i am," but you hug him tighter. satoru caresses your cheek, his teasing reduced to zero as he looks at you like he's trying to memorize each feature etched on your face.
he then raises his pinky. "hey, i said i promise."
it takes a few moments for your emotions to comprehend it— flooded with the thoughts of the possibility of him breaking his promise for the first time.
but you trust him. he's never broken a promise, remember? so you lift your finger, wrapping it around his. "i'm counting on it," you mumble, tears forming again almost immediately. satoru chuckles, "alright," he says under his breath.
inevitably, your lover then leans down, pressing a soft kiss on your lips, pinky fingers still entwined. your heart feels heavy with his gesture, free hand up in his white locks as you desperately feel him— as if your gut tells you that this was going to be the last time.
pulling away, satoru pushes your stray hairs back, giving you a wide grin. it made him look stupid, but nevertheless, you were still in love with it. "come back in one piece, dummy." you mumble, "i can't promise one piece, but i did promise alive." he jokes, making you hit his arm lightly with a smile. satoru savored that look on your face. fear gnawed at him about the thought of leaving you, but you both knew what he had to do.
at that moment, he thought about a recent dream he had one night beside you. you were cooking in the kitchen of the house he bought for you, humming to a song he was unfamiliar with. god, you never looked better. satoru dreamt of walking towards you, the hugest smile on his face as his heart was filled with that bittersweet feeling of domesticity. he called out your name, even making a move to wrap his arms around your waist from behind.
but there was nothing. his hand drew past your body, as if he wasn't there. his voice never reached your ears, given how you uncharacteristically didn't seem to react. a nightmare. he wasn't there for you. he woke up from it almost immediately, and you had to comfort him for the rest of the night. you called him dramatic, but satoru felt like it was a prophecy.
but snapping back to reality, satoru finds himself heading to the battlefield already, waving to his students and colleagues. then his last wave goes to you. his gorgeous smile pinched your heart like you were 16, sitting at a convenience store at two am with him, watching as he devoured 5 different kinds of sweets, plus your leftovers. nevertheless, you wave back, forcing a smile.
and that was the last you saw of gojo satoru.
"this can't be happening." you shakily mumble to yourself, in disbelief as you watch through the wretched stream. mouth agape, eyes wide— set on his dead, lifeless body. unable to do anything but watch as blood streamed out of his torso.
"hey..." your friend, shoko, puts a hand on your shoulder. tight, in reassurance. the other sorcerers are quick to get on their feet, almost all in shinjuku to finish what satoru started.
you don't say anything at first— your chest wouldn't let you. but you lift your gaze, looking into her eyes.
"satoru broke his promise."

sorry if the ending is a bit inaccurate, i haven't read volume 27 yet T_T. if you liked this drabble(?), please do consider reblogging and following me :3 thanks again baddies!
resident evil au!gojo satoru fucking you in an abandoned hotel full of infected, evil residents.
if there’s one thing you couldn’t fathom, it would be the way satoru’s bouncing you on his lap right now — in an old, nearly broken down abandoned hotel full of infected people.
this is was definitely not the mission your captain gave the two of you— no, your captain sent you both out to there on a mission to obtain some sacred object for the dso. not to inappropriately feel on each other while the residents are brainlessly trying to find the which room the noises are coming from.
“c’mon, pretty girl. those residents are wantin’ waaayy more than what ‘m takin from you.” satoru groans, his soft-blue eyes flickering down to where the two of you meet. it’s honestly pathetic just how wet you are in a moment such as these.
your arms are wrapped tight around satoru’s neck, whimpering against the shell of his ear. “shut up, toru... this w—was your idea in the first place.” you bite down on your bottom lip, struggling to stay quiet as he rocks you against his pelvis.
satoru’s thrusts are mean even when he’s putting your life in danger for the sole sake of pleasure. the dirty couch cushions are powdering off dust from each bounce of your hips. “hah, you’re right.” he validates your sentence with a stupid grin plastered across his face.
“not like you wanted me to stop though.” his eyes flickering up towards yours, watching the way you knit your brows and gnaw at your lower lip in attempt to stay quiet, before he’s throwing his head back with an expressive moan making you jolt in caution.
“toru, quit it!” you snap at him quietly, he’s being too loud for your own comfort as you look back at the door, which satoru barricaded with shelves and beds.
his fingers are practically clawing at your hips, engraving moon-shaped crescents against your skin. you can feel your own heart pulse throughout the veins within your body as the heavy footsteps track closer to the barricaded door.
“mmngh— can’t, baby!” he whined soft enough to make you catch onto his little game. satoru loved the game, he loved getting underneath your skin — especially like this. his canines are out, biting back an annoying grin as you continue riding him while he rolls his hips upwards, sinking deeper than before.
“f—fuck.” you moan quietly as satoru’s following your moan with a much louder one, before your hands are flying towards his mouth.
your palms are flush against his lips as he muffles against them. “shut. up.” you choke, your voice betraying you in volume as feel satoru twitch inside of you. he’s so disgusting it’s affectionately unbearable as you both chase for your pleasure.
his moans are broken vibrations against your hands as you bottom out on top of him. you can feel every inch glide through your soft walls, feeling the tip of his dick nuzzle sweet against that perfect spot inside of you before you’re choking around his length.
your stammering out soft whimpers, wincing at the bruising hold satoru has on you before he’s bucking upwards a few times— spilling inside you with every pulse of your walls tightening around him as you unclasp your hands from his mouth.
“l-looks like the, ngh— door held up after all, huh?” he murmurs breathlessly, as his blown out pupils flicker to the door then back to you. your face is a bit flushed as you ride out the high, “sure.” you huff, “but we’re never doing this again.” there’s a beat of silence before satoru laughs.
“maybe just one more time? pretty pleasee!” he begs like a puppy because as soon as you told him no more, he’s absolutely hard again.

a/n: the way this isn't even half my gojo masterlist is lowk so funny to me it took everything in me not to add spider gojo on here lmfao. anywhoooo reblogs + comments are always appreciated adore you all :3
The twins! There’s nerdjo 🤭and then there’s fratjo too ig, I was really excited when i saw nerdjo trending so I grabbed the opportunity to draw him hehe
when nerd!gojo sees that you posted a genshin pic on your monthly dump, he’s immediately logging back into his account and catching up on the game.
there’s so. much. dialogue. but he can’t deny it’s actually pretty interesting stuff. he left the game right before starting the fontaine archon quest and he got really hyped when the cutscene of wriothesley outrunning the primordial water showed up.
nerd!gojo who mains xiao and practically has kazuha in every single team comp he comes up with.
at some point, he pulls for neuvillette and decides to get furina too (won both 50/50s) and he’s absolutely floored by the combo. he’s on tiktok looking at team comps and understanding artifacts and talent passive bogus. he’s also one of those players that crash out every time xiao gets a new best artifact set.
nerd!gojo who hears you talking about genshin impact during class break. he’s talked to you a few times and you’re so friendly… he’s kind of in love.
“no, natlan was genuinely a nightmare to explore.” you rant to your friend, “i also kind of hate the saurian mechanics… like i pulled for xilonen mostly for exploration.”
he slips into the conversation easily (although he was quite nervous) but it ends with you guys exchanging uids!!
he sees you’re online a lot and just started asking to join your world. you pretty much always accept because you learned his units are pretty well built.
both of you mostly communicate via paimon’s paintings, but it’s fun and gojo really enjoys exploring and fighting weeklies with you.
thestr0ng3st: r u pulling mauvika
you: no, arle ftw
you: i want citlali tho.. my friend has her and she buffs like crazy
nerd!gojo who catches you in the library and nervously asks to sit with you. you both end up talking about genshin lore and theories and whatnot for hours.
“oh! there’s a co-op event starting in a few days! let’s play it together.” you offer and he kind of melts right then and there.
nerd!gojo who always makes sure you’re co-op teams have synergy and of course, you do the same. he wants to play neuv and furina? you’ll bring a team wide healer and a support. he does the same, but realizes you prefer the support position when he sees how many healers and sub-dps’ you have built, so he naturally takes the dps slot and does a damn good job at it.
you introduce him to your online genshin friends and the dynamics work well! but he always prefers just playing with you. he also does silly summoning rituals with you and he has a “standard character jail” in his teapot.
you start to find yourself checking if he’s online whenever you log in. you’ve also stalked his showcase and was really surprised by how well-built his units are—perfect crit ratios, triple crowned and sometimes a signature weapon or constellation.
you tell yourself you look forward to playing with him because his units are so good, ignoring the fact that you also search for him in lecture halls so you can sit together—cuz you’re friends!!! it makes sense….
