I barely make these posts but this is pissing me off

yes the fan shouldn’t have touched gd at the airport but people generalising China into a country of crazy fans isn’t going to help. on top of that my dash is full of people saying bigbang shouldn’t go there anymore -UM DO YOU KNOW HOW BUSINESS WORKS?

Yes safety is a priority, yes security should be tighter but you saying they shouldn’t go to China anymore is the biggest amount of bullshit there is. You do realise that after Japan - China is their biggest source of income. Like????

Let’s not get started on how many ppl are extremely biased. I get we all have our own faves to like but a fan shoves her phone into GD’s face and suddenly you’re all in an uproar. But oh no Seungri has to get escorted back to the van with security using tasers and literally 80% of you are quiet. Yes, we all follow different people in the fandom meaning we see different stuff on our dash.

and yes I wish both the fans and the boys are safe when in airports but generalising an entire country for the behaviour of a few isn’t going to help.

it’s also extremely ignorant (not to mention the slightest bit racist) to generalize an entire populations behaviour based off of the actions and intentions of one fan (or in other cases a small group of fans.)

it’s important to realize that it isn’t a certain ethnic group or country that is the issue but a behavioural problem that is ultimately at the very core of incidents like this. people who behave this way do so because they honestly believe that there is nothing wrong with their behaviour. much like the onslaught of kkt hacks that have been going on lately where people feel they are owed attention from those that they idolize.

so really, if we’re going to be having any types of discussions it should be healthy and respectful ones about why this kind of inappropriate behaviour is becoming so much more prevalent and how we can discourage it. What we shouldn’t be doing is blindly pointing fingers at an entire population, or fan group, or what have you.
