I want to tell everyone, ‘You’re perfectly fine right now.’ No one told me that. I hope people can think, ‘I’m great the way I am. I’m doing fine. Even if I can’t reach the criteria of success measured and necessitated by society, even if I’m weeded out, I’m beautiful the way I am. I’m pretty, I’m perfectly fine without having to think about other people’s opinions and stereotypes.

Cosmopolitan Releases Stylish Lee Hyori Photos

Cosmopolitan magazine has released a number of photos of singing star Lee Hyori. The pictures were taken at a photo shoot for the women’s magazine, and will be featured in the November edition of Cosmopolitan.

In the stylish black-and-white pictures, Lee Hyori poses in a variety of outfits, including a cropped tank top, a long jacket, a sweater and a lined leather jacket.

Haven’t been out in the open here in— Hello. How has life been treating everyone?

psa. i am an agonizingly slow roleplayer — my muses are fickle and some days all i can manage is chat threads or shenanigans. other days i can pump out longer threads like no one’s business. if it takes me a while on your thread it has nothing to do with you as a writer or me losing my muse for the thread.

I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (I’m not a big one for paying compliments), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain.

Lee Hyori will close her blog after a year

Lee Hyori mentioned on her personal blog that she will be closing it after a year. She wrote that her purpose for writing her blog posts was to show her life on Jeju island and that after a year many things might repeat themselves.

She said she wanted to share her first year at Jeju island and introduce the four seasons through her eyes. She also said that she will be able to attend to the blog with more care and affection knowing that there will be a deadline. Lee Hyori ended her post saying that she will read all of her comments carefully and keep them in her heart.
