so it’s obvious that the necrian babies were born in their necrian form but i can’t help but wonder what their human tendencies are

so far i have

they don’t need an item to change but can do so whenever they wish

they can understand and be understood both necrian and english (/other languages?) in either form (like the ingestible translators sorta)

i really hope that if we ever see them again we see their dichotomy of being both human and alien

With the inevitable Hellstar heartbreak on the horizon i was literally enraged at the idea of Steelhacker breaking up for some convoluted reason like "long distance is too hard" I'm so glad they didn't go there.

Actually at this point I'm thinking that what might happen is John dies and then Zari 2.0 is so overcome with Grief that she decides to stay in the Totem long term and OZ will be back full time or at least get the majority of Zari screen time next season.

I'm sure the writers can figure out some b.s. reasoning why OZ can be out n about long term suddenly and not break the timeline

Interesting. I’ve also heard the take that Nate would go into the totem majority of the time to be with Zari. As others have said, mentioning stuff about “long distance relationships” was kinda out of the blue unless they were gonna do something about SteelHacker.

Personally your theory is way more plausible, because as far as we all know Nate isn’t going anywhere and it would allow Zari 1.0 and Nate to finally have a romance.

A lot of Zari 2.0’s arc has been centered around Constantine and if he were to die/go rogue/leave then it’s understandable if she were to leave with him or retreat into the totem given the circumstances.
