Baguio City - Day 3

Nothing fancy about our last day cause we wanted to reach Pangasinan before noon to have our lunch at our grandmother’s place.

Just went to The Mansion and had some pictorials, as usual and went to Camp John Hay to grab some snacks at Starbucks.

Baguio City - La Presa

Have you heard of La Presa? Well, I guess, it’s a yes. La Presa was used to be the shooting place of the famous teleserye, Forevermore. It is found in Santo Tomas Rd., Tuba, Benguet.

For our second day trip, we decided to go to Sitio La Presa, actually they were the one who decided ‘cause I’m not really a fan of Forevermore, but my nieces and sister are. But I swear, this place will absolutely take your breath away!

Hi, Baguio!

It has been a while since the last time I shared my adventures here. And now I am back again with my not-so fresh Baguio trip (lol at that one).

Baguio is known as the summer capital of the Philippines because of its cool weather, that is also one of the reasons why I love Baguio.

In this post, I’m gonna be sharing my Day 1 experience in Baguio City.

For our first, we stopped at the Lion’s Head.

For our dinner, we went to Ketchup Food Community. You can find five restaurants inside: Rancho, Green Pepper, Happy Tummy, Rumah Sate, and Canto.

We decided to dine in Canto because of their interior! (don’t judge us lol)

UP Town Center: Cafe Shibuya

My friends and I wanted to eat somewhere new, somewhere we haven't tried yet, somewhere we can't find in Ayala Fairview Terraces or TriNoma, so we headed to UP Town Center.

We had a hard time thinking about which restaurant should we try for our dinner. We stroll around UPTC, looked for menus, and ended up eating in Backyard Kitchen + Brew, and decided to have our dessert in Cafe Shibuya. But for my post, I decided to blog my Cafe Shibuya experience, because "Dessert comes first" lol

Let's talk about our orders!

We ordered the best Ghirardelli Below Zero Chocolate drink. It feels like I was in heaven when I first take a gulp lol. Gahh, I can't even express how mouthwatering this drink was!

We ordered this Mango Caramel. It comes with diced mangoes on top of a graham cracker crust and vanilla ice cream sauce with vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with caramel sauce. Sounds luscious, right? I can say and assure you that this toast is the best!

I wasn't really a fun of matcha, but this Strawberry Matcha is an exemption!

Since we paid P500 ++, we got our free Pistachio Molten Cakes from Looloo! Yayyy!

Maginhawa #eats

I have always wanted to be back in Maginhawa after my first time to be there a year ago. So, the long wait is over, I finally got to be back in Maginhawa with my high school friends to eat and get fatter(lol).

But before going, I Googled some places/restaurants to eat, because it would be a hard time for us if we won't decide as soon as possible and have no plans where to eat 'cause there are too many restaurants to dine in!

First off, we tried the famous Italian-styled restaurant: Friuli Trattoria. There were lots of people dining inside and queuing to get a seat. When we've seen those people outside, we decided to roam around Maginhawa(such a long walk) and after maybe 5-10 minutes, we went back to feed our growling stomach.

For our order, we had:

Viva Venezia (P220)

Tre Formaggi (190)

Spaghetti Meatsauce (P135)

There service was slow for me, we were almost through eating our 2 Spaghetti Meatsauce and Viva Venezia when Tre Formaggi arrived. I had to follow-up it for almost 5 times. But on a brighter side, I enjoyed the taste of their pizza, and pasta's okay also. Yummmm!

We spent P680, not bad for 4 persons.

For our next #eats, we had this coffee shop that I've wanting and dying to try: Caffera.

Caffera is the first photography-themed cafe in Manila! Sounds good, ayt? A coffee shop + photography-theme, which I suppose that everyone likes.

It is just a small coffee shop which can accommodate 8 people inside and maybe 6-8 on their veranda. You can see and feel the photography-theme from walls, mugs, menus, even their comfort room.

It was 9 pm when we arrived. Good thing, there were no other costumers. Yay! The whole shop was ours that time. Lol.
