just curious.... do you all think that body image & beauty standards re body size etc have improved in the last 5-10 years?

i started this blog at the end of 2015, so nine years ago. looking back at some of the pics i used to post i'm like ...... that girl is skinny as hell lol. i try to post lots of different curvy body types so some people i still post are not that big (just bigger than what you might see on tv or w/e so i still want to support them & provide that rep). but even given that, looking at the pics i posted in 2015 i think that although our social standards are still skewed as hell and have so many issues, they have improved a little.

I think yes. As in bigger women celebrate themselves more and aren’t ashamed to show what they have. A slim body may still be the commercial norm however society is opening to women of all shapes. Here’s to another 5-10 years of body positivity!
