Aquarian Full Moon

The most powerful full moon of the year.

New beginnings and major life changes are on the horizon.Tonight’s full moon in Aquarius is full of life-upgrading energy as it also takes place on a full lunar eclipse. Powerful shifts are amplified as this moon welcomes us into the dynamic and self-expressive nature of Leo season. 

Release and Let go.

A full moon invites us to let go of that which no longer serves us; be it an old habit, a counter-productive mindset, an overly cluttered closet or a toxic relationship. Work with the power of this lunar phase to clear out some of the negative “dust” that has been piling up in your external and internal world. 

Everything is about to change. Embrace it.

The eclipse that coincides with this Aquarian full moon is going to bring about major life transitions. Ask yourself what kinds of changes you are looking for in your life and then pay attention to the signs that the universe is about to send your way. Epiphanies and strong urges for change may be experienced in the next few days. Trust in the idea that positive transformation will occur so long as you are open to it. 

Get in tune with your emotions.

As we usher in the Leo season, you may find yourself more sensitive than usual. Pay attention to these strong emotions as they may be guiding you into some dramatic self-transformations that will up level your life towards a stronger sense of authenticity.

Full Moon Affirmations:

Full moons are a perfect time for releasing and letting go of negative or stagnant energy. Make a list of the things in your life that no longer serve you. It can be helpful to write down these thoughts onto small pieces of paper and then burn them (in a safe area, of course!) in order to let go and liberate yourself from these negativities. 

Once you have recognized that which you would like to let go of, you can begin to invite positive change and transformation into your life. Say out loud or meditate silently upon these affirmations:

I recognize that which does not serve me and I now release those negative energies.

I release all that is no longer in alignment with my journey to my highest self.

I open myself to receive the changes that will guide me towards my true path.
