“No one threatens our family.” // “He means more to me than you will ever know.”
I know him. I have seen his true heart. All of it. My love can save him.
i see your lego man in a zoom call and raise you:
I fold
Why didn’t he go for me? You know, how come the guys that I want never want me? I’m inappropriate. I always say the wrong thing. And… Elena always says the right thing. She doesn’t even try! And he just picks her. And she’s always the one that everyone picks, for everything. And I try so hard, and… I’m never the one. It’s not a competition, Caroline. Yeah, it is.

I don’t know why this bothers me, but as I am someone who wears glasses it bugs the hell outta me that we didn’t get more characters in twilight wearing glasses.
We got Angela and Mr. Molina. And Angela’s glasses didn’t even frame her face right and it BOTHERED ME.
AND YEAH we got Alice wearing sunglasses and Edward wearing sunglasses but that doesn’t count. Nope, I need some full on nerd vibes.
Like I know vampires have impeccable vision, but the whole point is to blend in. GIVE ME EMO EDDIE WEARING READING GLASSES.
Carlisle is supposed to look like an adult figure. Slap on some glasses. I am also convinced this would make him like 10x more attractive.
Hell, could you imagine Emmett wearing glasses? That would be a sight. He would be the one that would need them constantly replaced because he would keep crushing them into pieces by accident. Carlisle keeps a whole draw full for him.
It’s also hard for me to believe that Bella wouldn’t wear glasses. You can’t tell me bookworm Bella didn’t have a pair of awkwardly large glasses that Edward thought were so cute. But I also see Bella wearing contacts in public and glasses at home, because she’s already an awkward, clumsy mess and would just break them from face planting.
The wolf pack also has a couple of people who wear glasses. LIKE SETH. Could you imagine lil baby Seth wearing glasses?🥺
Carlisle also hooks Seth up with a drawer full of perscription glasses, because Seth tends to lose / break his on a regular basis.
I always imagined Quil wearing glasses in the book, so I’m also putting him down as a glasses wearer. You can’t convince me otherwise.
Just let them wear glasses, Steph. There’s nothing wrong with it😭
This. This is what I needed in my life.
Okay okay okay I needed Edward and Bella in the mix so here it is:

Future!Claire: Explosion Future vs. Exposed Future (requested by beveryquietwerehuntingdemons)
if you're going to listen to any celebrity right now, listen to john boyega. hes spoken out since the start, since way before this. hes had to deal with people telling him that him speaking out isnt right and 'kids look up to him so less swearing'. he was breaking at the protests. and the fact his career could be ruined for speaking from his own experience and basic white celebs get praise for posting a picture isn't right and if you need anything to make you realise that the treatment of black people is different from anyone else, this should be it.

the lea michele situation is actually a prime example of why we should be wary of performative activism right now. if you are supporting the cause by protesting, donating, posting your support, etc. that’s great! but this problem goes so much deeper than just police brutality.
every single non-black person who has posted #blacklivesmatter this week needs to take a step back and analyze whether or not their actions (not just their words) have shown that they truly believe that statement. it’s a clear and obvious choice to speak out against the brutal murder of an innocent man. however, if you are not making the obvious choice every day to speak up for us when your friends/relatives make racist jokes, if you are not listening to and respecting the black people you know in real life, if you have not sat down to analyze the ways you actively benefit from this system, if you have not worked to start unlearning the biases you were raised with, or if you thought “black lives matter” was a controversial statement until this week, do not pretend to care just because everyone is talking about it right now.
when these protests are over, there will still be many battles to fight. this is not a game, and this is not something you post about just for likes and clicks. if you are resting easy right now thinking that you’re “one of the good ones” for showing public outrage over a situation that should anger any reasonable person, you need to do more. racism is not something you can pick and choose when to be against. we don’t get to pick and choose when we experience racism. so if you’re going to get involved with this situation right here, right now, then you need to be ready to hold yourself and others accountable for anti-blackness in all other areas of your life.
white people can and SHOULD reblog!
The first pride was a riot, more specifically a riot against police violence. Trans women like Miss Major and other people of colour paved the way for the celebration of pride today. You cannot celebrate your pride this month, or any month if you aren’t also supporting Black Lives Matter and the riots going on against police violence right now. Us white LGBTQ+ need to stand up for our black siblings and their rights, their struggles. We need to amplify their voices and show any support we can.
