oh yeah, i can definitely relate. this seems to be the case with work and everything outside of it. how long as this been going on? i need something new and exciting to happen so that i’m more willing to do more than just sit in my pajamas and have snacks! maybe we can get a party started around here or something!?

I had something planned if acting didn’t work out. I thought being a real estate broker would’ve suited me too, so maybe if I woke up one day and I didn’t have my current job, I would go that route. I don’t even know if I would be a good one, I just thought it was a good second option. Plus I think I look good in a suit jacket so. How about you? What’s the first thing you’d do?

i always thought that was an interesting job, and you seem like such a nice and genuine person, i think you’d be really good at that! the first thing i’d do? probably look for my kids, y’know after having a panic attack. granted, they may not even know who i am or even exist but, worth a try. as for work, i’d probably start simple at first and perhaps work as a barista or something. then, try to study and work myself up to a different job.

It depends on where my alternate reality lead me. Sometimes I wish I could be somebody entirely different but I think ultimately, I’d miss everything I have. I’d also make sure I have my dog with me. He better be with me in every universe.

oh yeah, i think your dog would be with you. but i mean everything else would probably be different. i was thinking like you probably wouldn’t remember anyone or anything around you or they wouldn’t remember you. someone in the scenario would be a stranger. i don’t know it was just a strange thought!

It depends, I think? Would I remember my old life? I feel like, naturally, I’d be completely disoriented and confused— I’d instantly look for my daughters. All in all, I don’t think I’d be able to handle it. I’d be full on crazy. But, wow. Hi, Leighton. It’s good to see you. It’s only been, like, years. How are you? I take it that you’re new to the ranch, as well?

somehow, i feel like you would manage. you’ve always been a strong person. but, hi!. it has been that long hasn’t it? crazy to think. i’ve been doing alright, and you? i am new to the ranch, yeah. it’s quite a different experience than everything else. i was conflicted on even coming, but ready to see what it brings, i guess.

I think it would pretty much depend on how much my life has changed. I would be able to cope with certain situations but there are others that I might have a harder time dealing with. The first thing I would do, I suppose, would be to look for my friends, my family. See that everything is okay with them, hope that I haven’t changed my relationship with anyone. When in that kind of movie a decision making totally changes the interrelationships you have with the people around you, it frustrates me. Without my job? I could live. Without my people? That’s unlikely.

you make a very good point! and i’d say that i have to agree with you, one hundred percent. our people are our people, and i feel like life would be unbearable without them. so, lets say it was just your job that was different; what would you do for work? what would be the next best thing compared to what you do now?

oh i think about this so often! also, which scenario i would make through the best. like i don’t know, i feel if the weather suddenly got… very different, i might handle it good. and maybe a virus since i know i handle staying away from people.  but like… zombies? i’d be so terrified. what about you? also, do you have a prepper’s kit?

you do!? okay, so i’m not that crazy then! oh yeah, if it were zombies i’d definitely be down for the count! the other two, i might have a fighting chance, like you’ve said. i don’t have a prepper’s kit, should i start one? what’s all in it?

you know how there are instances in like movies or shows and someone just wakes up and their life is totally different? it got me thinking.. how would i react? would i be able to handle it?! to be completely honest, i’m not really sure. what about you? could you handle it? what would be the first thing you’d do? @brasswoodhq​
