Took me a bit.

Malevolence and Malice are this weird immortal couple consisting of a cryophoenix and an icy fox. They are vain, distant, and completely horrible, and spend their days among various royal courts in a similar manner to Mytha.

They dress to match, and are extremely in love with each other. Said love abruptly ends there - the rest of the world is there for them to play with, pillage, and pull apart for their own amusement.

A common activity is for them to pick out someone they think is pretty, lure them to their bedroom with the assumption of sex, and then pull them apart and feed them to each other. Partially freezing their victims to make them brittle, snapping off fingers, and then slipping them past the other's lips - such things are the height of eroticism for this couple.

They both refer to the other as "Mal", and don't care that it's disorienting to the people around them. They both carry classy-looking pipes, but neither of them smokes - it's just a way for them to disguise the way their breath condenses in the air.

They do plenty of other horrible things too, involving turning people into jewellery and extreme acts of sadism.

Be very afraid.
