I think there’s something FACINATING about Odysseus using the tactics and the melodies of the different foes he’s faces.

- the melody of the Cyclops in the “keep your head down, he’s aiming for the torches.”

- aiming for the torches like Scylla

- “ruthlessness” just like Poseidon.

He’s quite literally become the monster.
