MEET THE ARTIST

Hii! My name is Lei. I'm an 18 year old Psychology University student and I live in the UK. Pronouns: She/her.

I have always been creative. At the start of 2020, I decided to create art that helps express my feelings and past traumatic experiences. My favourite media is fabric Textiles and I source my materials second hand. I am also interested in making clothes and upcycling.

My Jack Russell, Curtis also plays a big role in my creativity - not only does he sometimes model my creations but he's also my biggest fan and supports me 💖

I also like expressing myself through fashion - I am inspired by Harajuku and Maximalist styles.

I cater to everyone! Everyone deserves to own cool pieces. Hats and collars are one size fits all but I have a range of inclusive sizes for the gloves. I use 4 way stretch fabrics to allow flexible fit:)

Unfortunately after the 20th September, commissions will be closing whilst I go into my second year of University but I will still be uploading and producing pre-made pieces on my Vinted and Depop page!

Yesterday I exhibited at my local Art Trail event. I wanted to highlight the issue surrounding plastic pollution especially within oceans. The hat and collar are made from old inflatable baby water mats and I also made the gloves myself too 😊

inspired by the stylish furby (jpn) (eng) magazine that was released by tomy in 1999, but this time featuring the energy of what the modern furby fandom has become in 2025 (anarchic/queer/DIY/subversive/surreal/filtered through several layers of internet brain).
