God I really considered doing both prompts because they're SO FUN, but alas I ran out of time haha Anyway, Shin is just completely and utterly head over heels in every universe out there.
So personally I really like the theory that Caine is actually the blue AI that was eaten at the beginning of ep 8 and Bubble is the red prototype and behind everything including possibly the abstractions too (esp bc of bubbleboy being a real virus and all)
So I also want to point out this moment in ep 5 when Pomni was detonating a bomb and Kinger mentioned how out of the wire colors blue was his favourite color, because it's the closest to black
Specifically he chose the blue wire as his favourite instead of red, and Kinger was the one who created Caine and yeah, I think you can see where I'm going with this
Just a small moment that strengthens that particular theory for me I had to bring it up
I need to get a genshin theory rant out of my system so here goes:
I love this theory Ashikai made in a recent video regarding constellations and how (based on Neuvillette's profile story) people with constellations that reflect their image might have the power to challenge the world, powerful rogue 'Variables' so to speak.
Archons and Columbina are the only characters who's constellations reflect them, with Wanderer being a clear exception and Durin and Albedo being honorable mentions that I'll go into in a bit.
Focusing on Wanderer, he is also the Hero of Simulanka, a storybook world that directly refrences and mirrors Tyvat, eventually the people of Simulanka are able to break free from their predetermined fates and finally have the ability to go their own paths, with their fates returning to the stars per the goddess of fate's -Barbeloth- prophecy
Summer events tend to tease future content and Simulanka seems to do that 10 times over, with how we haven't gotten Irminsul burning yet (though confirmed as future content) and Wanderer's core being a part of Irminsul and used in Nod-Krai, Wanderer's role is likely going to be big, and it might have to do with freeing Tyvat the same way Simulanka was freed.
Though of course what consequences could arise from such a drastic change, who knows.
I do also want to make a point that if the whole Constellation theory is true, while Wanderer's very clearly reflects himself, Albedo and Durin are less clear.
Technically their constellation does reflect them, but it's more so their fetus/pre creation selves rather than their current self (Humonculous in a bottle, Mini Durin in a bottle)
So my idea, which lacks any evidence whatsoever, is that they could be a less substantial, or rather less world shattering version of rogue variables, they might not be strong enough to affect the world, but they are strong enough to break free from Tyvat's fate.
It is what Durin ultimately did in his story quest with the help of the mages, and it might be something we've yet to see from Albedo (he seemed intrigued at the end and wanted to do more research so...)

Kaito meeting Shinichi for the first time at a heist and sprinting away in fear because holy shit, that man has legs and he is not afraid of using them. (which, very nice legs. he may or may not have been checking them out earlier.)
Heiji and Shinichi at a case with Division One, speaking as normal, only for Shinichi to forget he's not Conan anymore and hit Heiji with the 'Heiji-niichan!' + big eyes combo that has the Osakan clutching his chest and rethinking his sexuality.
the Shounen Tantei-dan who looks at the Conan look-alike strangely, at first, because he's some high-school guy hanging around a bunch of elementary students, and eventually warming up to him and running around investigating cases with him again.
Beika, who sighs in relief because the murder rates suddenly dropped and, hey, where'd the little glasses boy/shinigami with a skateboard go??

i ran out of time again but i wanted to do an alt ending where instead of granting him absolution ran KO's shinichi like in street fighter. what's the fg where they do a dramatic slowmo and show you every hit? is that SF? (<- never got into fighting games) omake to that one would be shinichi in a fullbody cast w/ the raised leg ala ye olde cartoons...
i think theres a lot of options to how this debacle ends but imo no matter what shinichi owes her sooooooo fawking baddddd. i personally like it when theyre still besties (after she thrashes him a little maybe, as a treat) and she holds this shit over his head forever and ever hehe. bc i think that hes lying a lot for sure, and honestly maybe just being honest and getting the iron-fisted concrete-crushing action heroine on his side coulda been a solid tactical move, but also like... surely ran can see where hes coming from. at the core of it homie just got his world flip turned upside down and also koshed over the head. the concussion probably didn't help. i think she'd just be happy he was alive and back in the end, esp if he came clean about all the crazy murder shit... what's important is that he's alive to pay his penance right? :)
alsooo who among us hasnt done a liddle lie and then gotten to a point where its easier to just go along than to admit that it was a lie haha... definitely not me of course. but the rest of yall (/badjoke)
also i think its funny that there's a somewhat meta (?) aspect to this...? as in weight of his lying sins accumulates proportional to the length of the series. do you think there's a correlation between how far along you are in the series vs how you feel about his lie? i donno.
errrr okay at the end of all this i just realized i never made it clear in the comic itself that this is after shinichi admits to the conan gig. LMAOOO. IT WAS SUCH A GIVEN IN MY HEAD... well idgaf im posting it as is anyways so funny the way u can get so stuck in ur lane. or maybe its the chronic sleep deprivation idk #yolo i hope its evident anyways... what else would he need to apologize for that would have hurt her so bad... idk . we'll see.
