Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Verily, the parable of a good friend and a bad friend is only that of a seller of musk and a blacksmith. The seller of musk will give you some perfume, you will buy some, or you will notice a good smell. As for the blacksmith, he will burn your clothes or you will notice a bad smell.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved. Allah won’t give you more than you can handle. Stay patient and trust Allah’s plan!

Everything that happens to us is always for our own benefit. Allah is always in charge of everything and We shouldn't be afraid what's going to happen in the future. Remember Allah can restore the broken part of you and change it into something great. All you need is faith.

Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, instruct me.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Worship Allah as if you can see Him and consider yourself already dead. Remember Allah by every rock and tree. If you commit a bad deed, accompany it with a good deed, secretly in secret and publicly in public.
