American tiktoks are being censored!!!
Every single creator I follow that posts about the murders by the current administration is either barely showing up or glitching to the point where the video is entirely unwatchable.
Videos are barely getting engagement by creators with millions of followers and I have to search for them.
This is fucking terrifying and I'm European, I can't even imagine how much is being hidden from the American viewers.
I think teens need to be able to go to trusted adults and say âI saw something in a porn video that freaked me out and now Iâm worried Iâll have to do it tooâ and then the adult can say âitâs ok to be nervous about sex, but remember that you donât have to do ANYTHING you donât want to do, ever, no exceptionsâ and this should be an ongoing conversation to remind young people that sexual desire isnât monolithic and they are not uniquely weird, cowardly, or undesirable for expressing their feelings, and they deserve sexual partners who prioritize consent & autonomy always
Thatâs normalising teens watching porn tho
it is statistically normal for teens to watch porn. what we do now is about trying to reduce harm and support safer sexual practices/habits, not attempting to promote abstinence. we already know abstinence-only doesn't work.
i grew up back when there was no online porn (most computers didn't have graphics to speak of, no one had enough bandwidth to send even images around practically) and i assure you, by 13 we had pretty much all successfully seen at least some porn.
Having an interest in sex as a teen is normal.
NOT having an interest in sex as a teen is also normal.
Thinking that anyone who has an interest in sex as a teen is a disgusting pervert who rightly shouldn't have even known sex exists until the day they turn 18 or until their wedding night? THAT'S NOT NORMAL.
MINNEAPOLIS IS A WAR ZONE RIGHT NOW. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT SURVIVAL.
I sat down a few days ago to write a standard âKnow Your Rightsâ post for everyone on the ground in the Twin Cities. I wanted to tell you about the Fourth Amendment. I wanted to tell you that they need a signed judicial warrant to enter your home. I wanted to give you the script to say âI do not consent to this search.â
But I realized I would be lying to you if I said that mattered right now.
The reality on the streets of Minneapolis is that ICE is operating as a lawless, paramilitary force. They are pulling people out of cars without cause. They are snatching people off the street. We have seen them murder innocents like Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, and face zero consequences. When federal agents are tearing gas peaceful protestors and ignoring court orders, âlegal rightsâ feel like a fairy tale.
You cannot recite the Constitution to a jackboot on your neck and expect it to save you.
So, screw the âlegalâ advice. If you are in Minnesota, or if you are anywhere in this country watching this nightmare expand, here is the SURVIVAL advice.
IF YOU ARE IN A VIOLENT ZONE / PROTEST:
Do not engage alone. ICE relies on isolation. If you see them grabbing someone, do not physically intervene unless you have the numbers to de-arrest safely (and know what you are doing), but do not let them operate in the dark. Film everything. Stream it. Scream. Make sure they know the world is watching.
Biometrics are dangerous. Turn off FaceID/TouchID on your phone. If you are detained, they will try to force your phone open. Set a long, alphanumeric passcode.
If you are near the protests, wear nondescript clothing. Cover identifiable tattoos. Carry saline for tear gas. Write a lawyerâs number on your arm in permanent marker.
FOR EVERYONE (CITIZEN OR NOT) DEALING WITH ICE:
If they knock, DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. It doesnât matter what they say. It doesnât matter if they say they just âwant to talkâ or âcheck your papers.â Unless they batter that door down (which is rare but happening), you keep that physical barrier between you and them. Talk through the door. Slide nothing under it.
Scrub your social media if you are undocumented or organizing. Use Signal with disappearing messages. ICE is using data dragging and AI surveillance, donât make their job easier by posting your location in real-time.
Know your neighbors. Who is vulnerable? Who has a safe basement?
Minneapolis, we are with you. We see you. We are screaming with you. The law has left the building, so we have to protect each other.
Stay safe. Stay together. Donât let them take anyone else.

Ultimately the reason why it makes me roll my eyes every time there's a post that makes fun of the way americans don't know shit about the world and someone adds a response about how it's not niceys to make fun of people for not knowing things and everyone has blindspots and you weren't born knowing everything and blah blah blah today's lucky 10.000 UwwwwwU etc. is because, ultimately, I don't think what's wrong with the average online american is that they're ignorant, ignorant people are everywhere, and everyone is ignorant about a lot of things.
What's wrong with the average american is not that they're ignorant, it's that every time they have to confront the things they're ignorant about they immediately construct a narrative where their ignorance is the product of some uniquely and exclusively american disadvantage that they, and apparently no one else in the world, have to deal with ("our educative system doesn't teach us anything about the world, you don't understand how bad it is", "we're bombarded with propaganda since birth", "we're subjected to a culture that punishes curiosity i stead of rewarding it", "we're so overworked and underpaid, you think we have the energy to try to learn anything in our spare time?", or my favorite I saw a couple months ago "well you might not know this but for the average american traveling abroad is not really accessible so it's not like we can visit other countries to learn about their culture" as if the average person outside the is constantly taking international vacations or something) when, in reality, their ignorance is a product of immense cultural privilege, a product of the fact that they even have the ability to go through their entire life without needing to learn shit about anywhere else in the world, which is something that no one else in the world has (well people from other first world countries kinda have it too but not to the degree as americans because in terms of cultural hegemony the U.S. is the first world's first world)
people in latin america have to know more about the united states to get into a university than people in usa need to know to graduate from one
We want the Government to repeal the Online Safety act.
I hate having to post political posts like this nut he we are again. Anybody from the UK wanna sign this. Folks from outside the UK maybe share it?
PLEASE sign this if you're in the UK
And in the meantime, many have recommended getting a VPN, too.
Non-UK folk, help this get more reach if you can!
if trump literally decided to go to war without another country WITHOUT CONGRESSâ APPROVAL, why hasnât he been removed from office or had his power limited yet?
edit: higher ups are apparently considering impeaching him but that didnât really work, we just need to get him out of office and prevent him and any of his supporters/members of his administration from running.
Literal TEARS in my eyes rn
Your regular reminder that trickle-down economics is a cruel joke designed by the wealthy.
HE FOUND TUMBLR??????
Iâve been here the whole time.
stop being silly in front of me
I have some news for members of the united states armed forces who feel like they are pawns in a political game and their assignments being unnecessary.
Are you in the military or thinking about joining? Are you unsure of where to get reliable answers? Call the GI Rights Hotline at 1-877-447-
Maybe spread this link compassionately in online spaces where these people might see it. This is extremely important.
The American people overwhelmingly oppose Trumpâs plan. In fact, a recent poll found that only 14% of voters support cutting social services to fund an extension of Trumpâs tax cuts. Thatâs why Republicans passed the bill early in the morning when no one was watching â because they know how wildly unpopular it is. This bill is NOT a done deal. It still needs to pass the Senate. It's important that we get in touch with our senators and tell them to vote NO on this bill. Keep calling. (202) 224-3121
I use 5calls.org which makes it pretty easy. I've been calling and bothering my reps basically every day since January because it makes me feel slightly better. Today, it's essential we flood the phones. Don't make this easy on them. Make your voice heard!
There is no excuse for gutting basic support for those in need to give those with more than enough a little bit more.
I need every single US person to contact their Senators about this NOW.
Not only does it do what is listed above, it also bans trans care under ACA plans. Care about trans people? Call.
It puts a 10 year ban on regulating AI. Not just at the federal level. States that have AI regulations law, no matter how minor, this would over rule that. Donât want your rent set by AI or jobs outsourced to it or the plagiarism machine to have 0 breaks? Contact your senators.
It gives a whole bunch of money for ICE and their detentions centers.
If taking food and healthcare from people wasnât enough, it also is going to make the rich so much richer while making you, your family, all your friends and colleagues worse off.
Spend 5 minutes. Make 5 calls. Make your voice heard.
I hate doing this too but doing nothing is not an option. I called both of mine. Join me.
And remember that money for ICE is to turn them into a secret police force to target everyone so even if you think it wonât affect you it will. And also gives the president the power to designate any non profit a terrorist organization - which he can use to silence critics. Not to mention, it will kill people by ripping away their benefits.
call now
lives are on the line. And that may well include yours.
be on the right side of history. Donât wonder later if you could have done more.
I know itâs scary, so US mutuals please do what you can! Call your reps!
As someone who would rather cut off my own limb than talk on the phone, I do not say this lightly. Now is the time to conquer our phone anxieties!
Amongst huge cuts to social programs that benefit millions of Americans, like medicaid and SNAP, the Big Beautiful Bill also includes provisions that will cut billions to student aid, cuts to the Federal Employee Retirement System, cut funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and ban states from regulating AI for the next decade.
This will add trillions of dollars to the debt, and all to pay for tax cuts that benefit the wealthiest in our country.
Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. Homophobia and racism arenât marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
Praying for a safe journey back to the spirit world, Uncle â€ïžâđ©čđŠ
Jonathan Joss was killed today in a hate crime. In his memory I gave to The Trevor Project. If you are able to I would encourage you to donate to the LGBT+ organization of your choice.
We are heartbroken to share the tragic news of the death of Jonathan Jossâbeloved actor, artist, and gay iconâwho was fatally shot on June 1, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was 59 years old. Authorities are investigating the possibility of a hate crime.
Jonathan, of Comanche and White Mountain Apache heritage, rose to fame as the voice of John Redcorn on King of the Hill and appeared in acclaimed films such as The Magnificent Seven and True Grit. Beyond his screen work, he was a tireless advocate for Native sovereignty, queer visibility, and authentic representation.
In recent years, Jonathan came out publicly as a gay man and remained fiercely proud of both his Indigenous and queer identities. He is survived by his husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, with whom he shared a life rooted in love, art, and community.
Jonathanâs legacy is one of courage, truth, and unapologetic presence. His impact on two-spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous youthâand on all of us who saw ourselves in his workâcannot be overstated.
We mourn his loss. We honor his voice. We demand justice. Rest in power, Jonathan Joss. You are remembered. You are loved.
