I'm not even mad they didn't even kiss, the final was shitty for a variety of reasons and I do get if you loved it and all but pls understand that people waited nearly 3 years for this.
I'll list the flaws for you, I'm good at lists-
1. The whole thing was super corny. Every dialogue sounded fake as fuck and nothing compared to the season 2 love confession or even the season one story telling and the word play. It all fell flat, I was cringing half way.
2. The plotline ? Rushed, didn't like a single plot point or have already read something very similar to it in popular fanfics. I guess the script writers did too.
3. The ending ? Shit. And yeah one can say ohh they love humans so much, they love earth so much they gave it all up for us. Gurl, there were similar stakes in season 1 too, and because of brilliant story writing and word play it didn't have to come to that point. They saved the whole world and then themselves. Come on, we all know they are smarter than this.
4. God's whole panel was corny, get her out of here.
5. Plot holes- if Michael burnt the whole book she must've burnt her page too- means she never existed and thus couldn't have burnt the book in the first place. She also probably bhrt Aziraphale and Crowley's pages too. No one reread or questioned the script once and that's why I'm so mad it's so shitty.
6. Lobotomized Aziraphale and Crowley. Need I say more ? Stuff like that looks good in fanfiction only- not in your million dollar budget approved finale of a well acclaimed show.
7. Character butchering- you say it was so in character of Crowley to ask for another universe with no heaven and hell but mann, they are smarter than this, they are so much more than this they could've asked for anything they could've asked to undo it all, they could've asked to change the prophesy itself, by god they aren't this corny or stupid to ask for their existence to be erased when they've tried to stay alive for 6000 years.
8. No kiss ? Well yea obviously folks are mad cause when you pump up the tension that high in season 2 finale and give them close to nothing in THE finale- they are gonna be mad. This isn't the ending they deserved not the one we deserved. Not exactly saying that we needed a kiss- but like come on man they held hands and did that two finger corny ass things whatever bro come the fuck on. How bad could it get.
9. Also bad acting. No explanation for this I just felt that Michael and David did more in season 2 final 15 than they did in these 90 mins. Probably a directing error since they are both phenomenal actors, idk tho all of this is a personal opinion.
No matter how low all our expectations were, I can say that it was well below that and people have a right to be after waiting 3 years only to get this.
