I came home to Mystic Falls. It felt right. It’s where I want to grow old. And that’s my life. weird, messy, complicated, sad, wonderful, amazing and above all epic.

Elena could already tell that she, and this mystery man were going to have a lot in common. “Strangely enough..its similar from my home town as well. Who am I. Well that name is Elena. And what am I? Well now Im human but, I wasnt always that way. I was a vampire but, thats a story for another day. I am also and have always been a doppleganger.. if you even know what that is”

Caroline wandered the foreign streets hoping she would be able to find a familiar face. At this point she would even take seeing an unfamiliar face as long as she found someone who would be able to tell her where she was. Strange things had always been surrounding her and her friends but this was the first time she had randomly been whisked away to some strange land. It was weird but it looked a lot like home in Mystic Falls but many things were different and she could tell she wasn’t home. “Uh…Hello?” she asked the wind hoping maybe someone was lurking around and they would show them self but she was also on guard in case this town wasn’t as friendly as she had hoped for.

Elena couldnt help but, smile from ear to ear when she Caroline emerging. It had been getting pretty lonely with the only friendly faces around here being Tyler and the only other familiar face being Katherine “Caroline!!”

“Ok, clearly I’m not in Beacon Hills anymore,” Theo mumbled to himself while looking around at his unfamiliar surroundings. He had the obvious questions running through his head. Where was he? How and why was he here? Who, if anyone, was responsible for this? He knew he wasn’t going to get any answers just there standing there, but he could begin moving, he turned towards the direction of the sound of footsteps to see who was coming in his direction.

Elena was taking one of her late night walks. This town would make everyone loose their minds. She knew if she didnt take some time to clear her head she would go insane. As she walked down the dirt road she listened as she heard some footsteps, and saw someone she has not seen since arriving. Elena did not want to startle him so she kept her mouth shut.

Elena could hear the sarcasm in her dopplegangers voice and it just annoyed her. “ Well than I think it might need you to liven it up again so go on and return.”

God, her smile melted his heart and any sort of anger or painthat he had felt for what she had done melted away the minute her lips curvedupward in to a smile. “Together.” He repeated, his hand moved down to hers andhe intertwined their fingers “I didn’t think I would ever get the chance to dothis again” he said as his thumb caressed her hand. “We need to make up forlost time.”

Elena smiled when she heard the word together leave his lips.“Together.” she repeated after him. She liked the sound of that the two of them together once again. She smiled as she felt their fingers intertwine. “Yeah. I know. I didnt think I would ever see you again or if I did well you would be old” She looked into his eyes. “Hopefully we have all the time in the world now..”
