“I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the fact my brother is whistling at me.” Lena commented, smoothing her hands down her outfit, smiling slightly at the compliment she got. “And that is not a cry for you to try and set me up with someone.”

Lena once again found herself at her brothers door, pounding on it loudly knowing that it would irritate him even more. But she truly believed he deserved it, after all he put her through after all. “Dev, I swear to Merlin if you don’t open this door, I’ll kick it down. Just think of how much more noise that’d be.”

“Hey- I think you have my order.” Lena commented, looking to the cup that was in her hand, “Last time I checked I don’t go my Mortimer and I don’t drink-.. whatever this is-” She commented, sniffing the coffee before scrunching up her nose.

Lena wasn’t really sure who she was looking for, it was just by chance that she had heard the others name mentioned by someone nearby, waiting for them to leave before she approached them, “Jonah, right? Your Dev’s-... something.” She commented, waving her hand as she wasn’t quite sure what he was to the other then some sort of influence.

“Please tell me that one of the coffee’s in that holder is mine.” Lena looked to the other almost pleading, Matthias was one of the few interns that she could tolerate and the two seemed to be getting along well. She just hoped it would be enough for him to think of her when he was out getting coffee.

It’s not enough to make a black woman a female lead of your show. You then have to write for that character. You have to make sure there are hair and make-up artists who know how to do black hair and make-up. You have to have producers that understand the black experience in Hollywood. Every department, you have to have diversity. So that these actors and these storylines are protected.

“I think I would say it’s a bit more then just a bummer.” Lena commented, her tone maybe sounding more sarcastic then she meant, but then again work was important to her and things not going right did tend to put her in a bit of a foul mood. “Here’s to hoping or else I’m going to be working late into the night for the next few days.”

Lena took the napkins off the other and was already starting to frantically dab at the parchment that was now rather soggy, “Just a little, I mean- it’s only all the information I have on the case I’ve been working on for the past week.”
