After a very frustrating three hours of editing, behold, the final chapter. (I had to post it as chapters 6 and 7 because AO3 told me I exceeded the character count.)
So, after almost losing my mind having to switch jobs and working almost 100 hours (no joke), today finally, finally, will open my work file, do one last read for grammaf correction and hopefully, I can post the final chapter of "Jealousy is a nice color on you darlin'". Cross yours fingers
And it is now confirmed that I am my worst enemy, because words keep piling up and I refuse... I refuse to split the last chapter into two again!
Currently at 46k words, and I'm still missing a few scenes. Not the ones I had already mapped, nooo... the new ones my brain insisted on pushing through, and that I now need to draft, otherwise my OCD will not let me live with myself.
Of course, listening to Sabrina Carpenter while leaving my heart and soul in what has now become the largest story I have ever written.
And talking about Sabrina Carpenter... this is all the delulu I need in my life right now
Sabrina calling Jenna the prettiest girl in the world is healing the hurt that the Emma and Ben situation had brought me during the last couple of days.
And talking about healing, my wife finally agreeing to give Wednesday a chance and saying that she actually liked it is doing wonders for my inspiration. Currently on season 1, and I can't wait until we begin with season 2.
Wednesday Addams is so Damiano David-coded (his Dove Cameron era) in her adoration for Enid, and I will die on this hill.
"Before you I was just a flare in the sky, a kid too afraid to go play in the LIGHT, a colorless painter, a man with no sight. Before you I was nothin', was nothin', had nothin'..."- Damiano David
"The sooner I can save Enid... or die trying..." - Wednesday Addams
Currently working on "Jealousy is a nice color on you, darlin'" , and I can only say... what is wrong with me? Why do I keep adding scenes instead of just finishing the damn chapter as it is and end the story!

There are three prompts to choose from each dayâyou can pick just one, or combine them in whatever way makes sense to you! They're meant to be inspiring, rather than restrictive. Can't wait to see what you all come up withđ
Rules and guidelines for the event are below the cut, and as always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Rules & Guidelines
1. What's allowed? Pretty much anything! Artwork, fanfiction, gifsets, headcanons, analysis/meta, memes, etc. are all welcome, as long as they're your own work and are Korrasami-focused.
2. Explicit content is fine, but the characters need to be adults, and everything depicted MUST be consensual.
3. Please abide by Tumblr's guidelines about explicit content, otherwise there's a chance Tumblr might delete your submission! If you're not sure, you can always post your work to another site (AO3, twitter, etc.) and then link to it here. All explicit content posted and reblogged here will be tagged "nsft" so be sure to block that tag if you'd like to filter out such content!
4. No whitewashing, racism, misogyny, transphobia, ableism, or other bigotry of any kind. Content that explores these themes is ok, but they shouldn't go unchallenged in the piece, and they should be tagged with the appropriate warnings.
5. When submitting visual or audio media, please include a description either in ALT text or in the body of the post itself.
6. Other characters and relationships from The Legend of Korra are welcome, but your submission should be primarily about Korrasami.
7. Be kind. No criticism ("constructive" or otherwise) of other people's work unless the creator explicitly requests it. If you don't like something, just keep scrolling!
8. Follow the prompts if you can! They're meant to be helpful, but if you get inspired by something else entirely, please feel free to submit whatever you make!
9. Tag for content warnings if you think something might be triggering. Use your best judgment, but if you aren't sure whether a CW is needed, it doesn't hurt to ask!
10. Submit your fanwork either by mentioning @korrasamiweek2024 in the body of your post and using the #korrasamiweek2024 tag, or by submitting it directly to this blog. You can also add it to the Korrasami Week 2024 Collection on AO3. All submissions for each prompt will be reblogged or posted by the end of the day.
11. There's no such thing as a stupid question, so if you're unsure about something, feel free to ask!
