“not even offering a coffee?” he groaned a little as he sat up, still half asleep as he blinked blearily over at her. “or at least giving me five minutes to wake up properly?”

Ellie looked over at Rhodey from where she was already sat at her vanity, applying her makeup. Raising a brow, she half shrugged, “is that what you lot do nowadays? Well, I suppose if it’s more proper I can offer tea. No coffee, I’m afraid. Can’t stand the stuff.”

“neither am i.” he answered with a soft chuckle and a shake of his head, “and the number would make no difference to me, small or large.”

“Thank you.” She murmured, sending him a soft smile, “Not many men would say the same about that. A woman’s worth is all too often determined by how many times she’s opened her legs.”

“you don’t really think there is a long list of people who have seen me quite like this, do you, miss briggs?” he teased and closed his eyes with a pleased sigh.

Eleanor shrugged, raising her brow, “I’m not one to assume about anything, much less someone’s... bedroom experiences. Do you think I’ve got a long list myself?”

“and the vast majority of people will never know any better. not everyone gets to see me like this.” he chuckled quietly and tilted his head back a little.

“Is that so?” She hummed, kissing his jaw with a smile, “Then I suppose I should consider myself very lucky, Mr. Jarvis.”

“well… i guess i can hold off on complaining if that’s what i get in return.” he let out a soft groan, leaning up to kiss her deeply.

She smiled against his lips, pulling his hair through her fingers. “I’m sure many wouldn’t think you are like this in this situation, darling.”

he smiled at the kisses littered over his face, nose wrinkling playfully. “i won’t make any promises.”

“Not even if I promise to be less cruel?” She murmured, catching his lips with hers to nip at his lower lip.

“but i know how much you enjoy it.” and of course, he enjoyed it just as much even if he complained. 

“Just like you do.” She watched him with a smile, pressing little kisses over his face, “So no complaining.”

groaning lowly, he chased after her lips as she pulled back before dropping back down against the bed. “well you spent long enough teasing. i don’t think anyone would look put together after all that.”

“Then perhaps you should have taken control of the situation then, darling.” Eleanor murmured with a smirk, looking down at him victoriously with a spark in her eyes.

“oh i wonder whose fault that is.” he muttered lowly, head tipping back and a pleased sigh coming from him with eyes fluttering closed. “you’re hardly looking so put together now either.”

“Ah, but I never claimed to be.” She chuckled, biting down a little before pulling back to look at him coming apart underneath her, “You, on the other hand, always look put together, apart from now.”

a soft noise escaped him at the tug on his hair, laying back down with no resistance as she pushed him back. “well of course.” he agreed with a small laugh.

“Unfortunately you’ve lost a little of your ‘not a hair out of place’ image.” She smirked, her lips trailing down his neck as she kissed any skin she could reach, nipping a little here and there.

he hummed gently, pressing up into her and leaning into her hands a little. “i notice the details.” he teased quietly, smiling against her lips. 

Eleanor hummed, tugging his hair slightly as she pushed him back down, her free hand coming to push his shoulder as she kissed him, “Like any good butler?” She teased softly.

he leaned into the gentle kiss with a small smile, looking at her with a fond expression. “of course i did, i pay attention to such things.” he whispered quietly, fingers brushing up and down her back.

“I’m just not used to it.” She breathed, her eyes fluttering closed as she relaxed under his hands. Leaning in to kiss him sweetly, she ran her fingers gently through his hair.

kissing over the spot he had just bitten, he hummed a little. “just looking for a good reaction.” he murmured, head lifting slightly to look up her, “and i remember you liking it before.”

“You remember correctly.” She said, catching him in a soft kiss, “I didn’t expect you too.” She hummed as she pulled pack to look at him with a slight change to her gaze, it softening visibly.

“another time, perhaps.” he chuckled quietly against her neck, the sound being broken by a moan instead. he moved his kisses to her collarbone where teeth nipped at her skin to leave a mark.

“I look forward to it.” She hummed, something akin to a mew escaping her at the nip, her back arching in reaction. “Bit violent there, darling.” She chastised playfully, “looking to leave a mark?”

he hummed quietly into the kiss, head tipping to lean into her hand before breaking the kiss to trail his lips down her neck instead. “well… i won’t use any judo moves on you now.”

“I don’t know whether to be glad about that or slightly disappointed.” She laughed softly, her head tilting to allow him better access as she ground down against him.

“oh and who’ve you been discussing that with?” he laughed lowly as he pulled her down toward him to kiss her deeply, fingers of one hand tangling loosely in her hair and the other pressing against her lower back.

“Wouldn’t you like to know.” She chuckled in reply before she was pulled down to him, a soft sound leaving her lips as the fingers of one of her hands curled in his short hair, the other cupping his cheek and brushing across his sharp cheekbones.
