Lexa grinned broadly, glad that Leon felt the same way as she did about Heathcliff. It would be awkward if they were actually friends. Something about the warrior had always rubbed her the wrong way.
“I hope you’re not insinuating that I’m fearful. I’m careful, there is a difference. But, hell, if one of those mountain girls were hot enough maybe I’d be persuaded to…mingle, too.” She didn’t know if Leon knew about her thing with Anya but in case he was aware she wanted to make it seem like she was interested in many girls. People couldn’t be aware of what Anya meant to her.
Leon had suspicions about Lexa and Anya, but he let those curiosity die. Lexa was his leader, she could do as she pleased.
“No, I don’t think you’re fearful at all.” He amended, smirking at her comment of mingling. “Maybe you just haven’t met the right ones.” He suggested.
