“That you definitely are,” she knew. Adrienne sipped on her glass of whatever drink she had in her hand — after all, she was here to try new things. “Thank you,” she returned with a smile. Someone like her would always try to look her best. And it seemed like Leon was not quite far away from that as well. While usually in suit and tie, this was just a different kind of look. Fitting for the occasion, and fitting for him. She liked a man who knew how to dress. Saved her time for teaching. “How are you liking it here?” She asked, knowing by now that it might not be the best decision to be seen with him here. After all, he had two brothers in good positions that knew who he was. But business was business and she would not let anyone stand in her way of success. Not since years anymore. Life taught her that much. She was blinded by his glory to believe he might be misunderstood. She knew a lot, but she had dealt with worse.
Adrienne took pride in many things as she should. They were a like in those respects. Both knew how to dress, how to talk and how to use those around them to get what they needed. A quality he highly prized. As she asked how he was finding it here he smiled. “Some people are wary as I suspected them to be,” he shrugged. After all when a brother that is barely mentioned and practically erased is bound to draw some suspicion. “Others have been very welcoming,” he told her. “I find that there should be ample opportunity here,” he smirked. He just needed to spread a little fear first and get some self justified payback in the process. Those damned bloodsuckers were not welcome in his eyes.
