i usually enjoy watching the tonys but pink being the host this year is really killing the vibe. i’ll think about the shows that are performing and get excited but then remember that pink is the host. no hate to pink but she’s a bad seed on this earth.

like i just don’t think pink is who the tony organizers think she is. i don’t think she’s famous enough to really draw that many more viewers, definitely not new *young* viewers. it makes it seem like they wanted a bigger celebrity but couldn’t get one and had to settle for pink. people do know who she is but i don’t think it’s crazy to say that her heyday has passed. she’s in a latter phase of her career now. her audience is mostly moms.

In contrast some people say "there aren't any picky eaters in Asia 🙄" but this is laughably untrue. I have a cousin in India who refused until his 20s to eat anything in a sauce. as you can imagine in India this was difficult. he basically had to pick things out of curry and wipe them dry
