As much as I love the idea of Kaeya pulling strings and weaving mind games, it’s also nice to have the idea of Kaeya being stringless. Losing mind games. He’s like 22. He was left in Mond with little way of speaking the language when he was like 8 or something.

And losing mind games in the sense that Kaeya is playing but he’s not doing it right. Overthinking people’s intentions and decisions, interpreting them as if it were literature with massive implications.

He’s like “oh em gee why is every diplomatic meeting stressful” and meanwhile on said diplomatic meeting he’s thinking this official has 287373 reasons to why they’re spitting nonsense. When it’s. Money.
